  1. if you can guarantee me sunshine, and no rain i might just take it out!! :-) must do jim, dont see many about now!
  2. i often find that when my wife is working round the car she likes to wear a bikini and heels as she hates the way her overalls catch on things and she wants to keep her steel toecap boots good for going out! you should try that approach, i always like to give good advise where possible :-) ps good luck with your project :-)
  3. totally agree, top advise here!
  4. cheers jim ill be getting them instead, prefer steel tbh! ill post a pic for when its finished, coilovers in and doing the calipers too! think its gona look mean
  5. are they any good? do they give any problems?? just looking black nuts to replace the chrome ones as ive sprayed my wheels black!! heres a link mate :-) http://www.epracing.co.uk/Performance-Parts/D1-Spec/D1-Spec-Light-Weight-Wheel-Nuts-1.5/p-76-161-144/
  6. im glad there are others out there too! lol, im total ocd about certain things, cloths and footwear for one, if i see a pair of trainers i like i get 2 pair, just so i can keep a pair good! ive 5 pair of keglers alone, never out of the box! all my stuff is like new, bike leathers, helmets etc etc, id say in all honesty my 2001 R1 and ktm supermoto might be the cleanest in the country!! generally when im selling a bike i dont even need to advertise, usually have a list of people looking to buy them, case in point (and this is the gods honest) i took my ktm out today for the first time in 6 months to put a bit of petrol in it, was coming out of the shop and a guy from a recovery truck was standing by it looking at it, we chatted for 5 mins and as i was leaving him he gave me his card and you gessed it 'if your ever selling that mate, give me a shout' i do love having my stuff super clean and mint but i have to say it sometimes takes the enjoyment out of ownership trying to keep them that way!! sometimes just wish i could go and enjoy them without feeling the need to have them so clean all the time :-(
  7. first thing i noticed! its like wearing a suit with trainers!! looks smart
  8. funny i was gona get an orange set and not going to bother now because thay are spraying them! they were anodised and looked fantastic, dont like the look as much of the sprayed version!
  9. 'give me a rise or ill kill all your family' worked for me!
  10. lol, glad your seeing the lighter side of it now :-) good luck in the future with the alopecia bit!
  11. no worries mate, just watch yourself on all that stuff cuz soon your gona be shavin your forehead to seperate your eyebrows from your hairline :-) honestly mate nothing to worry about!
  12. id say part or your problem is stressin about your hair falling out mate! just calm down and try noy to worry about it so much, yes the alopecia was a problem for you and im glad you got that sorted but i can tell you that your hair thickness and hairline were not, you have the hairline of a yetti :-)
  13. id be scared that puttin all that stuff on your head would make it fall out!!!!!! whats happens if you stop using it? will it fall out faster??
  14. the rms is just a seal and not that much of a problem tbh, its the ims issue thats the problem and it was not fixed in the 997! they have failures too, there is an indi porsche guy here in northern ireland, there is one thing about him, he tells it how it is! he has ' fixed both 996 and 997 ims failures and thats generally a new engine!' milage and the way they are drove have generally nothing to do with failures either, if your gona get a porsche go for a turbo! they have no real engines issues, well none that cant be fixed without needing a new engine! all im saying is do a LOT of research.
  15. this is riding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r-1t6D5E6U

breitlings have a bit of a marmite thing going on with me, bit to busy for me tbh although id wear the first posted
  17. fair play fella for the pics, you look on good shape to me, cant get over 23 odd pages of advice and not many game enough to post pics of the result of all the advice!
  18. any links or write ups on this uprated bearing? do they warrent it for non ims failure and if so how long?
  19. as long as you have about 10k of a backup fund youll be fine! lol my c4s widebody that i owned 3 odd yrs ago ps porsche do a 127 point inspection (think thats it) health check and years warrenty for about 1.5k (but be sure when they are going over it you will be using your plastic friend as they always find a few things that need doing b4 you get that yrs warrenty!!!) my advise is if you are thinking of a 996 or 997 get a turbo (all versions of the m96 NA engine have documented ims failures and no one knows accurate % rates!), was hoping to pick one up this week myself but went on hols and the one i was after was sold :-((
  20. its a crackin car, i know the guy who owns it! John Peden, dont live that far from me.
  21. i love my na because its still in my garage and im just about to buy a 996 turbo next week to keep it company with the 35K i didnt throw at it and guess what, it still looks more or less like every other mkiv supra out there without the 35K in her! lol
  22. its ok fells, donta take it to heart! its just the TT boys who think they are ****! everyone who doesnt own a supra just looks at them and thinks they are all the same! what the worst thing that they can say 'your car is slow!' ouch
  23. thanks bud, i like to think i do my best to keep the TT prices high
