ive just bought a set of bc coilovers from paul, they are sitting in my garage as they came and ive not adjusted anything, just a quick question about the spring length, im just looking to lower the ride hight by 20mm from std front and back, i know this is done buy the bottom sleeve and collar nut, its the spring that is concerning me, is it set at maximum compression from the factory and should be adjusted off or is it set at minimum compressed and should be compressed more?? just dont want to wreck them by installing the strings compressed to loose or to tight!! cant see anything in the instructions to help me out much either setup is purely for looks, just looking it as comfortable as possible (for a set of coilovers that is!! ) all help greatly appreciated, esp anyone who can give me any of their setup dimensions esp the spring compressed lengths running bc setup too :d

i got this one, the mutts nutts, very powerfull motor esp at slower speeds for waxes, the 220 sometimes struggles here, these guys are great to deal with too, loads of advice esp on pads and waxes etc http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing-machines/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/das-6-pro-dual-action-polisher/prod_673.html just try and find out what paint you have on your car (ie original or sprayed as it does make a difference in the pads and compounds you buy for either hard or soft paint)

thanks mate, seats are really great and very well finished, as with the car i havnt really sat in them much tbh, quite hard but still comfy, good fit for me but im only 11.5 stone drippin wet, id say they might accomodate another 2 or 3 stone ok! lol got the lights of rick on here (blueangle) quite expensive but totally worth it, after a set of wheels this is the next thing id do on the outside of a supe!! should see them lite up a night, brings the back end right up to date!! cheers jim, was floating about in the backround as a non member from time to time, my bikes tend to keep me on the bike forums or grinding sliders when the sun sticks its tongue out, not much of a key board warrior as you can see from my post count! lol thanks for the comments, and yes still as clean (prob cleaner)!! ps was up round gortin (omagh) area for a run on the bikes a while ago, roads are empty and fast!! no one ever about!! superfast from plumbridge to draperstown, lovely drives round the gortin forest park and surrounding area, check it out in the car if you ever want to go for a run

just couldnt part with it, eventually these are gona become rare again, ill wana have mine when they do, 12+ years is along time to own and know a car and at the end of the day 6k aint a whole ball of money, im getting a tuscan and to think 6k will only cover quarter of the cost of it sort of puts it into perspective, id rather have the sup and get the tvr aswell rather than sell her and only really be funding a quarter of it!! just seems like im giving a good car away for no reason

the plastic intake scoops at the front of the quater panels (in front of the wheel, dont know what they are actually called/refered to as) dont care about colour as long as they are in good condition! cheers tony

there was only one car i ever wanted since i had it in yellow scalextric version sadly, was a '1971 lamborghini miura sv' and guess what the fook i just got my ass sat in tonight when i went to collect a bike i had just bought from the guy??? im still in shock! he started it up and took me down the road in it! bar nothing, prob the best motoring experience ill ever have, that car sang like an opera star, provenance was amazing :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

ive had a 04 993 c4s, lovely car and stuck to the road like it was on rails, the sound was fookin amazing, tvr griff! frightning nuf said, mate has a 355, not that fast but looks great and again the sound is fantastic, another freind had a 360 for a while, great going car, i loved it but to be honest im gona go for a aston vantage next, love the look and sound of them! like my sup and prob never get rid as id get fook all for it but sometimes i feel a bit embarrased driving it as im hittin forty now and want something more round my age bracket! lol plus the sound of the the big engines!!! ummmmmmm

its 1994 and it was only in northern ireland about 6 months odd when i got hold of it!

the dials are custom stainless steel ones (monkey dials) backlite by blue leds, heckler done the full dash led conversion for me, really does look so much better than the original greenish lighting!

had her near 12 years now! cleaner now than its ever been, if i had a pound for every time i wanted to sell it it be rich had a 2004 carrera c4s with all the trimmings 2 years ago! its gone and the supra is still in the garage, its like one of those colds that just never seems to go away all in all 'i still love it!' always fancied a white one! know its dull but this is a pic i love, just shows the shape off soooo well anyways thats her and glad to be back! tony
