  1. I'll take them off ya for £100 - can pay you immediately.
  2. Cant believe he s 40! Happy birthday assuming you remember me lol
  3. I was in rx7. U had a very nice looking stock bodied supra in black. V nice car.
  4. £1000 tax a year I think. My brother has one. V v fast off the line. Handling seems OK. I'd rather have my rx7 but its got a fabulous sound system. Very modern. Not economical. Sounds great for a standard car.
  5. More than you could afford pal. Apr. Sorry couldnt resist!
  6. eagle f1 and avon zz5 are both good. I rate.
  7. ok my 2 cents or the elephant in the room shall we say (imo of course!). I used to post quite alot on here but in recent years I've stopped. And I KNOW I speak for tons of other members from 2007 and before who also stopped posting for the same reasons. Here is why: 1) It became very very clique in 2010-2014. Borderline bullying if you didn't agree with some high count posters that their cars were "Awesome" (to be fair they generally were, but the kits/styling etc. were naturally open to debate). If you said anything at all detrimental you'd be attacked by all the big players on here. Ironically most of these big players have moved on to other marques making this forum much friendlier. 2) After the above, many people just stopped posting their own projects or responding to others project builds for fear of criticism and have lurked ever since. 3) There are stand up people on here still who generally don't post much but now just watch/read and pm. Probably cause of reason 1. If you look at the amount of people viewing the forum at any point it hasn't really got any quieter just less people posting. 4) The long standing BS N/A supra bashing did nothing to attract owners who own the NA, despite being the same car. Again this just puts off a ton of supra owners from posting. 5) Cost of parts sky rocketing. So pricey now, there are far less projects being started as unfortunately this car has got to the stage where cost of tuning is truly for the passionate only. So less people buying supras for £2-4k and tuning them up on the cheap. 6) Simply far less of them on the road and being used daily = less activity. I hardly use mine anymore and most supra owners I come across equally keep them stored in garages now as they are worth so much and parts are expensive, they just aren't used much as a daily anymore.
  8. That many? Wow. What gearbox are you all running. Its actually quite affordable now I just want to buy some other toys first lol
  9. Sorry stupid q but what is it or does it do?
  10. Whoa. That looks horrible. I thought I recognised thr car but one I ve seen which is similar is yellow
  11. I read on a random youtube video that the gold toyota badges on supra s were a rare taken option I did a bit of research and apparently the gold is actual real gold plating. Is that true? http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/103-camry-3rd-4th-gen-1992-1996-1997-2001-1st-gen-solara-1999-2003/347326-gold-emblems-meaning.html#/topics/347326?page=1 The above is for a camry but if a camry was gold surely supras were too. Pm me the answer if its a yes otherwise we all may find our gold logos disappearing in the mornin!
  12. I was in the black rx7. Liked your supe. we did a mini convoy towards reading direction.
  13. I dunno. Supra s in the wrong colour without the factory optional kit can look a bit dated to me. Especially with yellowing headlights and bad choice of wheels. BUT... in the right colour even with oem wheels it can still be very nice standard and look modern. I m amazed how much attention its started getting. 5 -8 years ago people were very dis interested in them. Now I get filmed and thumbs up all the time when I take it out. Really strange.
  14. Exactly why I m getting mine done. Thanks for advice.
  15. So there s no definitive way to get screen out without breaking it? Surely some bodyshops can do it with 100% success rate?
  16. Can it be removed without breaking? My cars about to be resprayed at the bodyshop and my garage is hesitant to remove it for fear of shattering the glass. Is there a knack to it?
