I have about 40 in various boxes here and there. Really need to get them in to my display cabinet.

Shame we wont hit the same numbers we had in 2013, but this will still be a great event. The BBQ at The Falcon should be great fun too. Dont forget, its a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend, so no work the next day for any of us!!

Thanks Jamie. Your friends are more than welcome to sign up to this. If I run a DBv2 next year I will limit it to 10 cars as I know you and the SRD crew would always be interested and running a 10 person event would be easy.

It will certainly go ahead this year anyway, I cannot cancel the Eurotunnel or Hotel without losing some serious money. So whatever happens it goes ahead this year. I'm sure we can all find friends to join up, just would have been nice to have more SUpras than nonsupras.

hmm, me too. I knew it would be a slower take up, but expected to hit 15 people signed up easily and then I push for the last 10. At the moment we have 5 signed up and I'm going to have to push for 20 which means going outside the club!! It was worth a try, but looks like 2015 will be just 1 DB and anybody who missed out will be sad

I was hoping for a bit more take up than this!! Certainly puts a second trip in 2015 out the window which is a shame as I had planned a return to Brussels.

I wouldnt hold off too long!! I dont know how quickly these will see. The May DB tickets sell out in 10 minutes, these wont be quite the same but may be a rush on them!!

I got persuaded to run a second Dragonball this year as everybody enjoyed the May trip to Brussels so much. So I have put together a rerun of the 2013 trip which was to Rouen in France but with a new hotel and a few tweaks to the routes to allow us to be closer to Rouen itself. Friday 19th September 2014 to Sunday 21st September 2014. Travel out on the 7.20am Eurotunnel from Folkestone, a drive down through Northern France, bringing us in to South Rouen where we stay in the Novotel. Saturday we travel out to Honfleur on the back roads, back round along the river road and back in to Rouen. Sunday we travel to Boulogne Sur Mer for lunch (with a wee stop along the way this time cos I nearly wet myself last time), and then Eurotunnel back to the UK at 4.50pm (French time), returning to the UK at 4.20pm UK time. Costs will be £300, that is for 2 nights at the Novotel (up to 2 people per room) and return Eurotunnel for 1 car (up to 9 passengers). Food is not included in the costs as they wanted to go from their fixed menu which didnt look like good value. Tickets should be available in the shop today. There will only be 25 tickets so this is a much smaller event than the May DB run, making it a little more intimate!!

Should be a great event, the hotel in 2013 ruined it for a lot of us, the Novotel is a different league, and is much closer in to Rouen so people can go in to town either night for meals.

Would be great if we can beat the 99 Supras from last year. Might even see if theres anything on the Saturday or the Monday for us to head to!!

Pig, in Rouen again...I can see the police being ready this time. Tickets should go up in the shop this weekend. 25 spaces, £300 all in for Eurotunnel return and 2 nights in the Novotel Rouen Sud. Food wont be included this time, so that will be extra. They have a restaurant onsite, and a McD 2 minutes down the road!! Will let you all know when the tickets are up.

It's a much much better hotel than the Mercure hole we used in 2013. Proper parking for 170 cars, in a gated car park, closer to the centre of Rouen, nice rooms, and a swimmy pool. Perfect really. And we get to go back to Honfleur and the tea time stop by the bridge. Should have a different feel with just 25 cars.

I will get the tickets up in the shop in the next day or two, so be ready to snap them up as there are only 25 spaces on this one. We will be running slightly customised routes from the 2013 run to Rouen with the stop point at Honfleur on the Saturday still the main stop. Hotel is really nice with a pool, nice rooms and good food.

Okay, based on the list above I'm going to reserve 25 spaces on Eurotunnel and 25 rooms at the Rouen Novetel Sud. Costs will be around £300 for the hotel and Eurotunnel and includes the route plans. This has the potential to leave a big hole in my funds so I hope we get enough people signed up... Dates will be 19th, 20th and 21st September 2014, leave early on the Friday morning, back late on Sunday afternoon.

Just for info, I dont believe they supplied the VVTi with a standard auto, it was only ever tiptronic on VVTi cars. Would like to find out if that is true so if anybody has a standard auto on a VVTi then let me know as I prefer the standard auto to the tiptoe.

Leon at JPS Motorsport had one of those on his car for many years, not sure if he ever worked out what it was but it certainly wasnt a one-off custom. Nic usually appears as if by magic at this point with a picture of it the name of a supplier...

I started peeling the edge of my fairy off the other day and my kids said they like it so it stays for a bit. So I'm going to book this for 20 cars folks, which puts a slightly different feel to the event, more like the 2011 event which was epic. Just hope all those on the list sign up or it could be an expensive trip!!

Better one has a better car park too. So will probably go for that, means tweaking the routes a touch.

okay, I will push on with it on the basis we have about 20 cars going. Hotel options are an okay one for about £50 per night, or a Novotel for about £75 per night. Any preferences?
