1. These use both bonnet hinge bolt holes, not just 1, so locates precisely. The single bolt universal ones are a pain in the butt as can rotate and then the strut can catch as you open or close the bonnet I found.
2. They do full brake kits. http://mrzimzim.wixsite.com/rbracingrotors/toyota-supra
3. I have these on the front of mine http://mrzimzim.wixsite.com/rbracingrotors/shop-now who are in Solihul. https://www.yell.com/biz/rb-racing-rotors-solihull-8441683/
4. I didn't have 25 mins to watch the video but I assume he's increase the retracting power on tired seat belts that don't want to retract? I did find some instructions somewhere on the american website but never got around to it. https://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?532699-Finally-writeup-on-how-to-fix-sagging-seat-belts/page3&highlight=seatbelt But as I have a pair on fronts that are a bit slow that I could lend you.
5. Steve's is definitely the best looking one I've seen, tucked up out of sight completely.
6. Update for anyone buying struts............ Strut lengths needed is 20" according to US website, which works out at 510mm and not 600mm as previously stated. Not sure if that length is total including ends or just strut. - - - Updated - - - Still some brackets left for anyone wanting a set............
7. My thoughts too Al, BBQ at yours Shane. See if Jon will come over too.
8. Did you ever check the earths?
9. All orders so far shipped. If anyone with Facebook can put a link to this sale on there it would be greatly appreciated as I don't have Facebook. Might bring some owners to this forum rather than just living on Facebook.
10. I cheat. I have a mate currently working in America so I just get him to bring things back with him for me. I even got him to bring back a new Air Con rad and a drier previously.
11. This is a one off I'm afraid. Once they are all sold that will be it.
12. You need 3 parts in total per side. 1) M6 10mm stub bolt that replaces one of the wing bolts. One end of strut attaches here. 2) Strut 3) Bracket that bolts on bonnet hinge. Other end of strut attaches here. A universal kit like the one below comes with all of the above, but the bracket is poor as only locates on one hinge bolt, rotates if it comes lose and if not aligned correctly can cause strut to catch when you open or close the bonnet. Hence why I have the quality brackets for sale.
13. Not really following what your asking but a gas strut needs attaching to the bonnet at one end and to the wing at the other end. Wing you replace a M6 bolt with a ball stud. Then my bracket attached to bonnet hinge.
14. Been looking on the SGS Engineering website for those who need a full kit but don't trust the quality of the ebay struts. These look like the right struts - https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/fixed/8mm-rod You'll need M6 ends - https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/end-fixings/ball-sockets/m6 And you'll need ball studs for the wing - https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/end-fixings/ball-extensions/x2-ball-extension
15. PM'd - - - Updated - - - Happy to ship anywhere, I just need to get a price on shipping to Germany.
16. I'm not selling a kit, just brackets for those who already have universal kits or who can source the other parts as mentioned above and build their own kits.
17. Finally have these. Link below for anyone that wants a set? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?349179-Custom-bonnet-gas-strut-brackets&p=4271825#post4271825
18. LONG STORY BUT HAVE ANOTHER BATCH OF THESE FOR SALE - Post #75 - BUT THIS REALLY IS THE LAST BATCH EVER FROM ME Following on from my previous post here, I now have 35 sets (15 more being finished off) of brackets from the engineering company available for anyone who wants something far superior to the universal bonnet strut bracket. These come with a 10mm ball stud. Straight swap for anyone with a universal bonnet strut kit. If you don't have a kit then you'll need parts below. Gas dampers are available from SGS engineering. You'll need 60lbs 20" struts including ends. Plus M6x1.0 10mm ball stud to replace one of the wing bolts. Right one is from America - Left one is from the UK Engineering company - Massive difference in quality. Bolts on to both bonnet hinge using both bolts so no worry about alignment or bracket rotation. These are £39 including shipping to the UK. People are asking me what struts they need etc. Converting 60lbs and 20" into metric I believe that a pair of 300N (each) 20 inch = 51cm (not 60cm as previously stated) struts are what is needed from what I've read. Something like these maybe: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-New-Universal-Bonnet-Boot-Gas-Struts-w-Free-M6-or-M8-Ball-Stud-Bolts-300N/282369853344?hash=item41be8e07a0:m:mJ5JDtu3IQ-nv6TsQpHFTjw Edited 27/12/2018: **NOW BEING STOCKED EXCLUSIVELY BY SRD TUNING**
19. What size is the fuel tank? If it's the larger UK tank I'm interested.
20. Probably best to ask Paul but I'd assume you just need to run wiring from ECU to the VVTi thingy (sorry no idea what it's actually called), assuming you have a suitable aftermarket ECU.
