My electric mirrors are on the blink. The heaters on the mirrors work just fine but they dont move around. Any ideas as to the cause ?

I can remember it being 50 odd pence per litre but that was a long time ago

and only 4 years since that dyno was done. We all know that cars dont lose horsepower over the years, especially tuned ones !!

Anyone got any J-spec brake pads ? I will take front and rear, but only really need the fronts. Uprated or standard im not fussed if they are a bargain.

My wife was the one actually persuading me to get the supe (she doesnt think very far ahead about how much they cost to run), and now i think shes getting fed up with the bills/running costs (petrol mainly).

The reputation i was talking about came from Akita owners whove had Akitas for years.

I havent personally had Akitas but my parents used to have Samoyds and show them. Because they used to show their dogs, we knew loads of people with Akitas and yes they are very nice looking dogs. However, they do have a tendency to be aggressive/turn on you. I knew 2 people who had had this type of dog for years, loved them cared for them etc and then for no reason at all, they turned and mauled the owner. Yes every dog has this potential especially if its not well kept, but Akitas do have a reputation.

i thought that you needed to chop wires etc etc. How can it be plug and play as the website doesnt seem to specify a particular car or bulb type for the plug and play connection !! Does the HID kit simply fit into the end of the existing bulb connector ?

Hi all. I was just off out for a run this evening (getting fit), and about 5 door down from me the neighbor has an Evo 9 MQ340. His mate was with him in a 2.5 GTS Skyline. He had just got it back from the garage where he had had it tuned and dynoed. He then took me out for a drive in it and it was very quick, but then again my supra is only an N/A and ive never been out in a TT so i dont have anything to compare against. He showed me the dyno graph and it was 276BHP and 1184 ft/lbs tourqe. Is that possible ? Surely thats wrong ? 2nd to 3rd gearchange was ridiculous, the power and severity on the change was unbelievable, but the BHP and tourqe figures seem so far apart that i cant see them being correct.

i worked in a laboratory. Our job was to make shit sink faster (yes really). We had to go and fetch big barrels of shit from the sewage farm, bring it back to the lab in a mondeo (once it spilt in the car), and then add polymers to the shit (mixed up shit so very few turds left) to make the shit seperate from the water faster. The faster the shit sank, the better for the sewage farm as they could pump the now clean water into the river faster and therefore have more throughput of shit. Very smelly job, luckly for me i didnt do it for long, but some people worked in their for years. God it was awfull.

i think you will need a to get some new connectors from toyota and do a bit of wiring etc (thats what other threads have said in the past). But if you find out for definate please let me know. Thats a cheap price as these were going for about £70 on e-bay 6 months ago and they said that they wernt E marked. If these are E marked and they are £30 its a bargain.

Yep, correct, Axix/Dare Maya. Diff company, same alloy wheel. I have these on mine, and i think there the dogs (although i do like the racing harts, Razza has those on his motor and i had a good look at them last night at the Reading jap meet, definatley very nice alloys)

Razza, you well and truley wasted me on the duel carraigeway on the way home. Round the first few bends off the roundabout i couldent get the power down even in the N/A and had to move to third early, but i had my foot down hard as soon as we hit the straight, but you left me like i was standing still !!!! Never before have i wanted a TT so much. Told the wife, how you wasted me, and she said, i bet you wished you bought a TT now Ehh. Never know, you may have done me a favour, maybe she wont be so mad about me spending another 5K and upgrading to a TT. Its either that, or a new pair of knockers for her. Maybe we should start a poll 1) Upgrade from N/A to TT 2) New pair of knockers

Anyone know what oil i need ?

Ok so weve had loads of obvious stuff and jokes, but any ideas on price qand where i can get one. The motor is working as water just dribbles out but no pressure.
