Is anyone watching BBC one at present on the cops, cars and bailiffs programe ? Isnt the ANPR system they use brilliant. The more uninsured drivers they get off the road the better if you ask me. Its usually the uninsured ones who also have something else to hide so its great when they also get done for other offences at the same time. However, surley it is possible to get around the ANPR. Obviously false plates do it, but that is why the punishment for false plates is very high so as to deter people from using false plates. Now i know that its illegal to display false plates, but is it illegal to display falae plates in addition to the correct plates ? Is it legal to stick random numbers and letters all over the back of a car to somehow try and disguise the true plate ? Would this confuse ANPR ? Now dont get me wrong, im not suggesting that this is something to do. As i mentioned earlier i detest uninsured drivers, but as criminals get more and more clued up to ANPR they will increasingly look towards legal and illegal ways of getting around it. Obviously the rear of a car with numbers and letters strewn all over it would look wierd and attract attention from a traffic cops, but would it fool ANPR ?

I knew a bloke who was loaded. He used to go to the garage dressed all scruffy looking at new cars. The BMW garage fobbed him off and were rude when he was enquiring about test driving a new M3. So off he went to the Merc garage and bought a car from the showroom and promptly drove it down to the BMW garage to show the salesman just how mush of an idiot he was.

My handling isnt right ever since i had 295s put on the back. I currently have 235/35/19 at the front and 295/35/19 at the rear. Standard suspension and weight. Any tyre pressure advice ?

At the risk of offending women on this site, I dont think they ever do learn. My wife isnt too bad, but there was a woman at the place where i used to work and she was hopeless at parking. She used to think that the car bumpers were for going - bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, im in the space. I keep joking to my wife that im going to hang tyres around her car like on a tug boat so she cant damage it.

Ive got 4 of those Halfords power packs at work, there all fine and some ive had for 3 years. excellent value, but never used one on a supra. Only problem i had was when trying to start a transit van and it wasnt up to it.

My wife is the same. She never hits any other moving object. She avoids other cars, dears crossing the road without warning etc, but so far she has hit 3 x stationary objects 1) Bright orange stationary bollard in a car park (every panel down one side of the car was damaged as she decided to carry on regardless- not the supe) 2) Large concrete post in the petrol station - better the post than the petrol pump it was protecting from her (again not in the supe) 3) Every curb stone between Reading and Yorkshire

Ther are absolute scum, and need there hands chopping off. They made a right mess of your dashboard thats for sure but writing off the car just for that is a bit steep. Yep definatley genuine. I got the details about the process from the page on the catalogue i bought it from. I still have the page from the catalogue as well. Also, my very brief knowledge of Pewter ( i have a degree in Pure Chemistry - and also checked on internet to make sure) is that pewter is an alloy made up of a few different metals. Exact composition will vary depending on the malability of teh metal required. Anyways, definatley genuine if you are interested

Dont think there will be much in it personally in terms of speed. I think the fiat has a faster 0 to 60 but i think the N/A supe will be faster up the top end. N/A supe is 225BHP, Fiat is about 200BHB i think, but the Fiat is likley to be ligher so hence i dont think there will be much between them. In terms of reliability, it the Toyota hands down. Fiats are generally crap, The 2.0 turbo in the fiats is renowned as weak, ive known 2 people have them and have nothing but problems. The N/A supe is bullet proof and over engineered for its power so is solid and reliable (unlike the fiat)
