Well ive still not managed to sort mine out. With work, the kids and the crappy weather, ive just not had chance to even look at it (although i did manage to replace my boot rubbers the other week as the rattle (which is still there) was driving me mad. So thats 2 things i still need to sort -no 3, cos i still havent fitted the new electric mirror switch. Maybe this weekend.

As i read on a post the other night, you cant import a supra to the UK that is less than 10years old. You used to be able to do this, but the rules changed in 1994, and now every supra (as they havent been crash tested) has to be over 10years old to import.

Yep they are an absolute nighmare, a law to themselves, recently staying at Bridgewater Close and making a complete mess.

I was just about to ask how you managed to get yours in as your is a W, but that explains it. Can anyone answer these :- 1) Why a 10 year rule for improting ? what difference does it make, why was it implemented ? 2) When did Toyota stop making Supras ?

As said in the title, coming home tonight and the heater started to smell like sweaty socks. Any ideas ? Yes i have checked, and there are no socks under the bonnet or anywhere else on the car !!!

I did mine the other week and was expecting a nightmare after reading a afew treads. They came out piss easy, took literally a few minutes. Luck of te draw i suppose.

the fronts arnt a problem (well i dont get blinded by them anyway) Its the idiots who drive with the rears on and dont know about it that bother me. Cant they see the light on the dash, or get the hint when everyone flashes them !!

Mine had the same problem. Toyota in Reading quoted me around £170 for a new upper suspension arm so they arnt cheap. In the end, i got one that looked like new from a scrappers for £80. It will take you some time to phone round and find one, but its worth it if you can get a good one.

Im guessing the garage checked that. I remember going under the car briefly when i collected it and he showed me what they had done. All seemed well at the back end where he was showing me around the back box. Where exactly is the heat shield ? (sorry im no mechanic, and can just about recognise the exhaust). I never spotted anything that looked like a heat shield at the time.
