  1. Just been to Toyota and quoted £12.50 per spark plug + VAT!!!. Surely that's way OTT. Any idea where to get the same quality product for a better price?
  2. Yep - look a car in the distance, oh dear ive hit the back of it (assuming traction!)
  3. euromillions ticket purchased and money will be with you as soon as I win:)
  4. thread hijack - JESUS YOUR CAR IS SHINY. Well done that man for awesome cleaning and polishing work. I would love to see the car in the flesh.
  5. OK thanks Wont i have to take the inlet manifold off too (think that what its called - attached to the air filter - Its an N/A) in order to get to the bolts that need to be tightened? Also, i supposedly had the rocker cover gaskets replaced 2 years ago by Toyota GT and ive only done about 5000miles since then. Is that normal?
  6. Took the car on a long run the other day. Smelt a burning oil type smell whilst at the lights and then when stopped I opened the bonnet and noticed a haze and a stronger smoky smell. Noticed a small oil leak towards the top rear of the engine just above the exhaust manifold heat shield. Is this a failed rocker cover seal?
  7. thats the slider, they always rust and sieze. If i recall correctly from when i refurbed mine, one slider is shorter than the other? Dont think you can buy a seperate part, im sure its a whole replacement caliper that you will need, but i may be wrong. A guy on here found a place selling genuine brand new calipers for a fraction of what they are from Toyota. I saved the web link BUT, my hardrive crashed and ive had to replace it so i no longer have the link. I recall a new JSpec front caliper was about £70 from this particular place, which is a fraction of what they cost from Toyota, so a rear would have been somewhat less than that. If you can find a replacement slider (maybe someone on here has one) you will also need a new seal kit. Nick (import pimp) sells these cheap but there is a few weeks delay RE postage. Im sure someone on here will be able to advise further
  8. Will have to measure mine now you have said that. My front appears very high. I bet its got standard TT springs on it.
  9. yep but eventually those older cars will rot/break/be so out of date that everyone will have to get newer ones eventually. As previously said, some EU countries dont allow any engine mods at all so its a matter of time if we stay in the EU
  10. Hi Homer, i thought all suspension was the same on Supras? Why different settings/heights for a TT? extra weight at front due to turbos and ancilliaries is possible? but why would the rear differ?
  11. Anyone know how to make the pics bigger? also ignore the date stamp on the pics as the camerabattery went and the date wasnt reset.
  12. Ok pics at last car before damage Car after damage - minor cosmetic to passenger side wheels, passenger sideskirt, from bumper drivers wing and mirror. Car now - better pics to follow Really well please with the wheels and now the geo is also done its made a huge difference to the handling
  13. Simply put, Klitschko is a large tall natural heavyweight. Haye is a crusier weight. Haye is good but Klitschco is so big and has such a good reach + speed, so its almost like they should be in 2 different weight classes. Haye had to jump to get anywhere near him. Haye showed how good he is by doing the 12 rounds against a phsically bigger but just as fit opponant
  14. Hi Keron Do you have the parts that connect the boot carpet to the rear seat?
  15. That looks damn close but thats not the one. The one ive seen is a miles older 911, with almost exactly the same style black on red widearch and spoiler and huge rear tyres. The bloke ive seen in this one is a huge tall black fella, had chat with him at the lights one day but didnt catch his name, think ive also seen him in a dark blue widearch supra.
  16. wow looks awful. Who on earth would EVER think that was a good idea? Flags and cars just dont work. Especially a flag design like that, as its not symetrical. Cars are meant to be symetrical.
  17. Im sure the seal toyota seal kits come with a red colour`d grease to use on them.
  18. Now your talking. There is an older shaped red 911 with a serious widebody kit driving around Reading a lot. Think thats an NUR car.
  19. Ta, similar then lower engine costs offset by other things.
  20. starting with an N/A as a base car (i.e engine swap is required on both options i list) How much would a turbo`d V8 cost in comparison to a singled 2JZ? reason i ask is that these V8s seem cheap compared to a TT lump (at the moment until everyone jumps on the bandwagon). is the turboing bit comparable costs to singling a 2JZ?
  21. im over that way sometimes but it wasnt me this week
  22. Oops!!!!, looks like i will need to put my teeth in
  23. I dont know you at all Jamie, ive only met you twice in passing at Reading jap meet, but from reading all the various threads of yours on here, i would say that i will eat my hat if this car stays as it is:d
