  1. parcal farce. I had a package delivered by them and it took 8 days. This wasn't international either.
  2. with the right tools you can get pretty much any nut off. You wont stop a determind thief but you should prevent the more casual thief.
  3. How much would postage be? intrested in these.
  4. My dad has an 02 diesel focus. Its upto 85k now and the only problem he has had is a failed rear wheel bearing. It isnt fast but it pulls OK. The focus also has pretty good roadholding.

    Budget Insurance

make sure they have it down as 2997 cc. if its 2957 thats a mkIII
  6. car batterys don't like to be completely drained or deep cycled. They can die from being drained right down Maybe try and Jump it from a known good car? If that works you know its your battery.
  7. Reminds me of another quote. You've got to help us Doc. We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas. Some people are also allergic to E numbers a friend of mine would go completely mental if he had certain E numbers. There was this particular ice cream which would make him crazy. I remember him ending up in hospital because he punched through a window.
  8. It's classic isnt it. I have every episode of south park ever
  9. have you seen the ADD south park episode? The teacher punches the kid and yells SIT DOWN AND STUDY!
  10. My Aem tru boost has just arrived. With regards to installing I guess you run the hose from the bottom of the manifold pressure sensor with the green label on it. Do you cap off the old hose or use a T piece to have them both the old hose and new one connected? How is the solenoid installed. When energized ports 1+2 are connected but when de-energized ports 2+3 are connected. Do you connect port 2 to the wastegate actuator down by the alternator and 3 to the manifold pressure sensor with port 1 having the little sintered muffler thing on it? What do you guys normally use as the switched live? The ciggarette lighter or maybe part of the stereo harness? If somone could do me a little diagram or maybe circle which bits I connect which port too using the pics from the FAQ that would be great. I'd use the guide on mkiv.com but the sites been down for the past few days
  11. I think the needle is lightly sprung. It wants to rest down at the bottom of the dial way below the pin it normally rests on. When you pull off the needle the centre pin is free to turn to wherever it wants so when you push it back on at the same level of the pin it gives you a silly reading. I would fit the dials without the plastic cover and start the engine the put the needle back on at idle rpm. Some needles will raise to zero when the ignition is on but not the engine. Dont know if the supra does this though.

  13. Can you restore the file from a backup. People may lose a few emails but at least it might mount the database OK. Any ideas on how the file got corrupted? It may just do it again if the disk or memory is flakey.

    Mazda mps

It's always hard to judge because some people are very cautious on the bends. Once youve gone round a bend and meet somone on your side of the road driving toward you and written off the car you just bought 2 weeks ago you tend not to think CAN I get round.
  15. I like a nice malibu and pineapple juice Although I tend to only drink wine or courvoisier these days.
  16. imagine a TT that weighed only 1100 KG. 296 HP per ton

    Wheel weights

I'm sure this must have been asked before but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know the weight of the standard OEM UK wheels? I know I could take mine off and weight them but they have tyres on and I'd like to know just the wheel weight. Any ideas?

  21. I work for a large international company which produces gas analysers for use in production, oil rigs, ships, hospitals etc, I help maintain the global IT systems. Its a good job. Flexitime and quite a bit of foreign travel with all expenses paid. So if anyone needs to monitor the oxygen in a power station flume or something let me know.
  22. Admiral currently. 2 years no claims and no convictions. They will insure mods but you pay more and they will only replace with standard parts.
