  1. I know what you mean. The main beams are as bright as you would need. But brighter is better
  2. I wanted to put mine under the main headlights but the damn dildo/headlight washers are in the way. Ive got mine next to the battery and airbox. Doubt I could fit another two pairs of ballasts in there though.
  3. Yay! I'm arian. When I was out in China earlier this year I noticed a lot of adverts for white/pale skin products. Apparently a tan is considered bad as it shows you work outside in the sun a lot whereas a pale skin shows you work in an office which is better. That’s what the locals told me anyway...
  4. Wow.. where do you put all the ballasts?
  5. When I first got mine I thought the grip was terrible.. turned out the eagle F1's that were on the rear were nearly illegal and were mounted backwards Got some brand new T1R's on the back and it was a transformed car. I dont think the eagle F1's were the problem, more so that they were badly worn and mounted incorrectly.
  6. Has anyone here installed HID's for the main/high beams? I have them for the low beams and they work well but I'm not sure they could put up with the constant on/off that high beams suffer? Any thoughts?
  7. The "fast" in "fast food" refers to the accumulation of fatty deposits on your arteries and the haste with which you perish.
  8. Nice. I wish I could buy a house If it's not too rude what sort of place and how much is it?
  9. Congrats. I hope to be in a new job fairly soon too...
  10. Just dont rely on the 3G signal mine spends 50% of its time on o2's network.. fine for calls/txt's but forget all the video calling stuff. Some of the roaming is included. I was able to make long calls from Taipei in Taiwan back to UK mobiles and landline... all included in my tarrif. Tried the same in greece last month and ended up with a £50 bill. Best to phone and ask. I found the customer service to be OK. Just long waits on hold etc. They managed to email me a complete rundown of the roaming charges and which areas are included.
  11. I dont find mine stays on for more then a fraction of a second and more often then not I dont notice it working, just the flashing light gives it away. To get it to really cut power you have to try.
  12. That is truly shocking. I think that if a violent/dangerous criminal offense has been committed they should be let go.
  13. My TC doesnt cut all power... it seems to be progressive. If I floor it on a bumpy/wet road the light often flashes but I dont feel any loss of power, sometimes it will back off slightly but will still be accelerating. If I for example stamped on the throttle in the pouring rain it cuts in quite noticibly but its only cutting power for maybe a quarter or half a second tops.
  14. Do you guys all have huge hp and oversized rear tyres? I dont find the supra all that bad in the wet. To be honest I think its pretty good for a 320+ hp car. It's quite easy to get it to step out when wet but you do have to try or be really giving it some beans. Lucky you missed the other cars. Did you go into the other lanes or anything?
  15. you can only run a thread on one core, you cant have it executing on multiple ones so unless you are running lots of programs or have multi-threaded programs a faster single core would beat a slower dual core. For games there arent any/many out there yet for multiple cores so just get the highest clock speed you can for games.

    Crazee Insurance

Imports always command a higher premium. I think the fact that some parts may need importing in the event of an accident inflates the insurance premium. It may also be because imports are statistically more likely to be in an accident? I dont know. It does seem silly that a NA supra costs more then a UK twin turbo to insure.
  17. I have been with 3 for a few years now. The signal used to be a bit patcy but its alot better these days. You can always make a call or txt etc. Dont expect to be able to make a video call all the time though the 3G coverage isnt comprahensive. It will roam onto o2 networks when 3 isnt avaliable.
  18. Love the interior and boot build. Shame about the headlights. If only the paint wasnt so... pink.

    Six pac

Everyone has a 6 pack, its normally covered by fat though. As far as I know there is no way of targeting an area when it comes to burning fat. Situps will build the muscles but the only way to make them visiable is by having a very low level of bodyfat.
  20. Thanks for the job adverts but im not really in the know with solaris. I am more of a windows/networking geek. Cisco stuff is fine.
  21. As the title says Bit of a shame as it means I cant go out for drives etc as I dont know when my next paycheck is comming. I have been applying for a few jobs and have had a couple of call backs and im shortlisted for a job atm. Its easily an hours drive there and back though which im not so keen on but the pay is nice as its 3-7k more then I was on. If anyone knows of any decent IT jobs going in the sussex area let me know

    supra milaege!?

They do last well. My UK one is on 157k now on original turbos and box. It has had a engine rebuild though.
  23. Just looked at the times and this was after the other thread...
  24. I cant edit titles. Only mods can do that.
  25. I know but it sounds like he was on-board and if thats the case he must be. Time will tell for sure.
