  1. the SBC-ID VIII Boost Controller does look good. I like that you con monitor all the other sensors from the ECU but it is nearly double the price of the AEM and then I have to find a home for the control box thing and a screen. What about the Dual SBC Spec R or the power entrprise one with the analouge gauge? I could proberly hide the SBC Spec R in the spare din slot under the stereo.
  2. Oh nice. So I could do all 3. Off for stock, low and High. Now I just need to work out where to mount it... and uh buy, fit etc.
  3. does it have presets? I like the idea of having stock or low and high boost. one setting for the normal drives and another for when its needed.
  4. Doh! I need that to tell the time... and the temp. Maybe a 52mm hole saw in the right location?
  5. At some point I am looking at increasing the boost so I have been looking at various boost controllers. So far I like the look of the AEM one best. I think it’s a 52mm dial type thing so it should be able to go in place of one of the vents perhaps? I really don’t want to end up with a boost controller hanging out of the dash or glued on top. I would like it to look as subtle and made to fit as possible. Has anyone had any experience with this controller? I've done a quick search and not found anything nasty mentioned. http://www.envyperformance.com/images/stock/304350aa5.jpg
  6. car matt was under the go peddle? Brake Caliper seized? animal/person caught in wheel/under car?
  7. Ow that hurts... do it again put your pointer in my purple starfish.. lol
  8. Dont think he has logged on yet... My pm still has no read reciept. Still interested in the downpipe etc though.
  9. I suspected but wasnt sure. Thanks for clearing it up. Just what I am after. PM sent.
  10. Which cats does the 3" downpipe replace?

    upper horn

Can you measure the voltage at the horn itself while somone else pushed the button? tbh I would expect the horn itself has died.
  12. Looks like a nice clean car; the supra does look good in white. As others have said fix the nose. It might just be dirt or the photos but the rear bumper looks a darker shade of white. Maybe it needs a T-cut? Either way if someone is looking to part with a lot of money they should be looking for these things and it could be construed as a possible accident repair.
  13. Amsterdam! Everything a man could want there.
  14. What car does your dad normally drive? Is he used to lots of power coming through the rear?
  15. Maybe too blue? Only emergency vehicles are allowed blue lights. Or it could simply be that they arent E marked.
  16. thats awesome. Hell of alot cheaper then any flat.
  17. This is a little worrying. I did my oil for the first time after buying the car and mine was on very very tight. No gasket at all, just a metal bolt. I did it up pretty tight.. no leaks yet.. If you do decide/manage to jack it up dont get under that car without using some decent axle stands.
  18. How much do they lower the car by? I'm interested in these. Where about in surry are you? would it be possible to post/courier them?

    Battery Killer

I would get some oil in there ASAP if its low. Check the level on the dipstick. If you dont have a multimeter then all you can do really is call out the AA if your a member or visit a garage and get them to check the charging current. It sounds like your battery isnt charging properly. Either the alternator isnt turning or genrating enough current or maybe the connections on the battery are dodgey. I would say it could be a faulty battery but the last one came from a working car. Good luck with it.
  20. wow you guys only pay 30-40 per hour for labour? Cheapest decent garage i have found is 45. Some want as much as 100

    Battery Killer

Sounds like the accessory belt or alternator is broken. Check the belt at the front of the engine. Do you have a multimeter?

    Supe Grounded

Is your car lowered much? I managed to wack the jacking point on mine on a curb. Bent it quite a bit.
  23. It is most likely bad hardware. I often run VPN tunnels and other bits over my router and generally give it a hard time. Some routers would just drop connections after a set amount of time. I have found most routers just fall over if you have lots of concurrecnt connections going. If your running torrents or other file sharing type stuff try limiting the maximum number of connections. Either that or spend some £££ and buy a decent dreytek router or something.
  24. Maybe they have limited your connection to only work with the MAC address of the supplied router? Some routers will let you enter your own MAC for this reason. Other things to check are that you have the right vpi/vci numberes entered in the other router. I was in a similar situation stuck with a crappy USB modem and my isp would only let me buy a router of them. Bought one on ebay and managed to get it working in the end.
