  1. Definitely. Even better though as look at the scenery we have around here. The runs that we could go on would be truely epic with a big convoy If we build the strip, they will come

Erm, no mate. You're lying. Quite blindly too. There is no way on earth a person educated to the level required to work at N.A.S.A, in fact educated to the level to stack shelves in the co-op, would make ridiculous statements like that. You carry on with your fantasy though Ps: You need to be married to have a father in law

    What are your sources Jazz?
  6. I don't think stock would work well with the kit like that (Same with mine). The car definitely needs a spoiler though, you don't half come away with some crackers
  7. How much do you think this is going to cost you bud? The reason I ask is that your budget is way lower than is required to get the base car that you are after and your target is a 9 second quarter mile. You're going to need a near 1000hp car to get that, and that's if you set it up for drag only. If you want a street car you are looking more at the power levels that JamieP and a couple of other members have. It's 10s of 1000s of £s to get there bud. You would literally see next to no change from £30k to do the job properly..... and that isn't including all the niceties that you could add along the way.
  8. Oh god no. From now on, when you have an idea..... just do the opposite and you'll be fine
  9. I've got a brand spanking new one but you won't like the price. Give Bailey a shout
  10. No, that could be down to a lot of things. First thing I would check would be the coolant temp sensor. It's in the water elbow.
  11. Sounds like an airlock bud. The Sup can be a bit of a pain to bleed. Have you checked the coolant level?
  12. It's actually really ironic. Loads of US shows make fun of the stereotypical Brit, The Simpsons, Futurama, Scrubs, married with children, etc, etc ,etc, just about every one of them in fact.... yet it's to make a joke. The writers know enough about Britain (and the other nationalities they take the mick out of) to know what to highlight and what parts of our stereotypes are funny. For some reason most of the rest of the US population don't really get it... the stereotypes, sarcasm or anything that doesn't start with "knock knock" or "why did the chicken". When I was in the US the Wife and I got to talking to a guy from Texas. He was showing off and being loud, but friendly enough. Anyway, he got his wallet out and my wife commented on the "funny looking cards". We pretended that we didn't know what his credit card was, asking about paying with plastic and how it worked etc. He believed 100% that we were in the dark ages, didn't have the internet and had no idea what a mobile phone was. The strangest thing was the perplexed look on his face when we told him we were joking, his phone was out of date and his credit card was only really of any use in 50% of the US nevermind the UK. Fun times though
  13. Mate, Hodge could ship his car over there, stick it on their dyno, allow them to run it and, even though it would probably crack 1000hp on their dyno, they still wouldn't believe it. There will always be some excuse, reason or something for them to hit back with. I'm looking forward to seeing what JP hits on the dynojet.
  14. Potato in my meat pie is like chicken in your veggy pie bud. I don't do the shopping, the Wife does. ASDA is the best value for money by a mile, their "Extra special" range definitely needs some tweaking though Modest income = modest shopping unfortunately. M&S is saved for Christmas and Birthdays
  15. Where did you pay 120 for it T? Can you not get a refund?
  16. Especially for Ed, imagine him trying to find it in an emergency
  17. I do like their create your own pizza, I must admit
  18. I'm good at showing over reaction but I don't think I'm THAT good As funny as it would be I don't think the following jail term would be worth it. Ps. you've just ruined hotdogs for me
  19. What's the highest figure they have hit on pump fuel? Just out of curiosity. I'm thinking it might be sour grapes as you guys will have blown that figure out of the water.
  20. I've always said exactly that. Even on SF I said the same thing. We have our yardstick, they have theirs. IMO that is all that we need, something to compare each others figures to. At the end of the day all that matters is how the cars perform on the road, the dyno figures are just a tuning aid to let you know where you stand.
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hexagon-Hex-Allen-Key-3mm-Long-Series-UNIOR-/130555461860?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item1e65b640e4 You will probably get away with that mate. I very much doubt it'll be 200mm, was it possibly someone over exagerating the size? The T-bar allen keys are generally 100 - 150mm, I think anything bigger is very much a special order.
  22. Their dynos do read high though. Their production cars show that when they come over here Even their holy grail of under readers, the Mustang Dyno, reads high compared to ours.
