  1. They will fit, as the UK specs are slightly bigger, but you need to loosen the ring to get the bulb in properly (no big deal). I currently have Jspec HID bulbs in my Glass UK lights. I'm pretty sure those are sold too though, I will let you know if they aren't

  3. Man these lights don't hang about. Pretty sure these are sold folks, will confirm in a bit.
  4. Lens has been refurbished inside and outside. The inner parts are the original facelift colour so I just gave them a clean rather than re-painting them as there was no need to touch them and wanted to keep them as Mr T intended. I have also touched up any parts of the chrome that was flaking off with a very special blend of paint in work so the rings all look spot on. You can judge for yourself from the pictures though. Also included are all the bulbs and 8000k HID dipped beams with the ballasts and everything ready for a plug and play application. £350 posted in the UK. Can knock off £30 if you don't want the bulbs etc.

  7. If the hub and bearing is already assembled then it will make the job a fair bit easier. It's not difficult to get the bearing out and in, it's just a bit of a pain and needs a big press etc. Fresh hub and bearing will make the job a lot easier. Good price on it too.

  9. Yup, same in Alcudia. It's a lottery to what the drivers will do. I stand at the side till I get annoyed and then just walk out, one guy beeped his horn and barely missed me even though he had about 50 yards to see me as it was a double. Well, I say he missed me. He did catch the toe of a my foot with his door. It was a close one.
  10. I've got the innovate lm1 and the gauge has B+, Ig+, earth and illum. My gauge dims when I turn the lights on. Fitted it myself other than the welding. Edit: I think it's the LC-1 I have actually. The small unit with the 3.5 mm jack. I'll check how I have it wired when I go in. I did all 3 gauges at the same time.
  11. Apologies mate, I stand corrected. I must say that it doesn't sound like a very good bit of kit in that case. For a start the reason for an ignition live and a battery live in every gauge I have seen/installed is to keep the current draw at an absolute minimum from the ignition. It is neither fused nor gauged for anything other than switching. Sounds like a massive howler from AEM IMO. I would be selling it and buying a decent one.
  12. You were too close though, if you weren't the. You wouldnt have hit him. Why do you think braking distances are part of the UK driving theory test? It's to teach you how long, potentially, it can take you to stop. I used to question the reason for them not changing over the years, as the braking distances were calculated in the 60s or something like that, but given the amount of people that still don't allow appropriate braking distances I can see the reasons they haven't been updated.... As they aren't being adhered to anyway. You were unlucky in a way to be fair. People drive too close to the person in front all the time, I moan at my wife constantly for it. In this particular case you didnt take the necessary precautions and it bit you on the bum. On another day you would have been lucky. As I said at the beginning, take it with you and learn from it. This time it was a fender bender, consider yourself lucky in that instance
  13. That just shows why Zebra crossings should be done away with. If there is a pedestrian waiting to cross you are meant to stop to allow them. Imagine the game of chicken if you didn't
  14. Luck has nothing to do with the distance between you and the car in front bud. No matter the scenario you should have an appropriate distance between you and the car in front. The general rule is 2 seconds as you should be able to react and stop the car at a rate that will stop you from hitting a braking car in front.
  15. You don't have a clue what you are talking about though. You can't just tell a guy how to do something that you don't even know how to do. Do you have an AFR gauge? Did you fit it? If so I would take it to someone to get it fitted properly and then re-calibrated as if you fitted it via your patented 2 wire method then your calibration is all to pot as the memory is erased everytime you turn the ignition off.
  16. So your gauge is on constantly then? Seems a bit silly to me. Does your battery not die if you leave it too long?

  18. Of course not, they should be spotting it and making a judgement from a safe enough distance to react in a timely manor. I was simply saying that I have failed to spot them quick enough and had to brake rather sharply due to people waiting to cross. Regardless of what the person in front of you does you should ALWAYS have enough space between you to account for any eventuality. If you don't follow the 2 second rule then you are a fool.
