  1. If you want an earlier spool then your best bet would be NOS. Otherwise a high stall would be a good choice. Go for something around 3.5k if you can find it. 3200 would probably be perfect but it depends how agressive you want it and what tyres you are running. You should start making positive boost around 3k rpm in TTC, you won't really feel any proper kick till 3800 though which is where the high stall comes in handy
  2. Yeah, we all do what's called the foglight mod (do a search). On the rear you have 4 brake lights, switch the fog light and 2 stay on at brake light level. Job done. Simon (Heckler) on here has released a diode version of the mod so that it only requires 2 very small circuits rather than 2 relays and 10m of wire.
  3. You can do that with a manual too, it burns out your rear brakes though and isn't good for any part of the drivetrain. Queue boiled fluid, gummy rear pads and short lifespan on everything. If you're going to do a job, do it right
  4. I've done it on ice and it's scary. I didn't catch it, I wasn't even close, I reckon I could do it 100 times and still not catch it lol.
  5. What difference does auto/manual make when burning up the rear wheels?
  6. I'm 6'5 so that's about all the altitude my food generally sees
  7. Good stuff. Its actually good you found that. Losing an axle of braking would be tricky, losing a side would be extremely dangerous.
  8. Yes, it's the wastegate that regulates the boost. If you aren't seeing the right boost it's because the regulator isn't regulating
  9. Yeah, IIRC that trick was more blue oval related
  10. If you're going to pull me up for not giving a complete answer I'm afraid you must back it up with a complete answer. No "etc" allowed
  11. The wastegate is sticking bud, it's the only explanation really. Either that or the boost gauge is playing up.
  12. Keep going EGT Battery Strength Vac Pressure Water Pressure Outside Temp The list is endless really hence why I didn't bother listing
  13. Looks to be opening about 10lbs according to that gauge. They are notoriously inaccurate though. I would possibly suspect the spring if everything else is ok. The fact that you were getting intermittent results would say it's something else though.
  14. Was that a loaf from the morrison's bakery, or just a branded one from the shelf?
  15. It's the polite term for a police person... duh
  16. If only, they might not have been so stingy with the innards if it was pigeon lol. Alright for some mate, hope the boys at work have something special planned from you at security Have a good time.
  17. Everything other than turbo boost pressure lol.
  18. Ahh, but your logic is flawed. Both those wrongs made a massively hilarious right
  19. Ahh yes, but these are all in the name of fun to ease the boredom. Not to increase the number underneath my username Check this out... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/search.php?searchid=451586 Have a look at the content. Page 1 should be plenty to make my point, feel free to look on though
  20. I think it's more the 1 word/sentence replies you give in almost every thread to increase your post count than it is useless rubbish I have been wrong in the past though, back in 93' I think it was.
  21. it does have dual feeds Gav, front and rear IIRC. Every line lock I've seen connects to the master cylinder as the OP has it. What I don't know is if everyone ditches their ABS when they do this or not?
  22. It's locked the front and rear because something after the master cylinder isn't setup right. I'm guessing it's the pipes leading out of the ABS unit that are the wrong way around. It should be fairly easy to tell as they will be crossed over at some point. This has nothing to do with what you have done with the line lock unit btw. This is just a mixup that has happened in the past.
