  1. 30th August - 2nd September mate. Summer is always a bad month to organise anything lol
  2. 'Victim' implies that it wasn't wanted. There are no victims here..........
  3. Shivers down my spine............ Literally, this just happened
  4. JB- Branners owns the site. A team of super moderators, moderators and event moderators help run the site. If you are on a computer/IE etc, you can see some members have different coloured names and a title under their names, depending on what they moderate.
  5. You're right, it usually is the exact same members that come to events, but those exact same members are also the family. Out of all the events I have attended, and JAE that I organise, regardless of my personal differences with any member, I can guarantee that they would still have a beer with me and help me out of any situation. They are also the same members that loan parts and tools, offer their free time and advice to other members. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, it isn't the members that do attend these events but the members that don't attend that are the problem, since this family is great! Oh and you can bet your last dollar that we try extremely hard to encourage new members to events and other members to events. Events are not to everyone's taste, but we still try. You are very welcome to come along to an event, the club does put in a lot of money to events so its doesn't cost you as much. DragonBall is extremely cheap for what it is. S Club is an amazing beautiful event. JAE is a great event and we have the best stand with a massive marquee, power, kitchen and chefs with constant supply of beer. All this is because of the club putting in money and the members putting in the effort. Burna couldn't have said any better!!
  6. I think technology also plays a huge part. Years ago, access was via a computer only, so more people probably spent more time in one go on the site commenting on many threads than they do now as access is extremely easy and quick on a phone.
  7. Many members will live your build thread, just quite a lot of members only blow smoke up “popular” members arses. It’s like a cult following for some members Plus some, like myself try not to comment in build threads as I think it clogs them up and makes it harder to go through it all.
  8. SRD have only literally just bought Hecklers business. And quite frankly, how can we say we can’t have two traders that offer the same service, yet actually have more than two traders that offer the same services. Shame about Hide n Seat though.
  9. I honestly have no idea about IT stuff, so couldn't comment on the maintenance side of it, however the forum is less active than it used to be. The fresh blood you speak of is slowly being implemented, Rosie, AKA Supragal is now a new mod and is dealing with all the membership pack requests. There is still plenty of events being organised with many members attending. Maybe a tech savvy member could make a decent app to use on phones for ease of use? I use tapatalk as its easy to read, but its a crap app to be fair.
  10. No we don’t, but send Paul and email with a list of what you want to buy, he may be able to help you out.
  11. 25 is the limit for non members. Click on club extras and I think is in there for the membership
  12. We didn't pay that at Wroxhall though and if it isn't like before or with no entertainment like before, than its £200 plus just to socialise at a fancy expensive place with not much to offer.
  13. The cost has already put Amy off lol Plus she doesn't want to drive to Wales I like the plan for the event to move around, but understand that must be a nightmare to organise and the cost. Only problem I see with this event is that if it doesn't live upto the previous years Sclub parties, it may be a disaster for future events. Damn you for doing amazing events! Maybe a formal setting could lift it up?
  14. I’m in two minds in regards the food. A sit down meal would be great, I like formal events, however as said above, buffet leaves it open to mingle better. The venue looks nice, I was hoping for a northern venue, like Scotland. Get more for your money Obviously too far oooop north for some folk
  15. I’ll have to look at the spoiler as the one of the feet have a loose but that I need to fix. Also the feet have been carbon skinned, so are one of a kind. I’m a bit of a carbon whore lol
  16. My canards should/may fit that bumper at certain angles. Would need to check, which version bumper? The canards I have were custom made to fit perfectly on stock bumpers but I have test fitted them to other bumpers and they fit in most cases.
  17. Yeah this isn't carbon dipped, it is carbon skinned with real carbon. Only one in the world
  18. It’s very hard to have a detrimental affect with the balance
  19. What is your front bumper? I have custom made carbon canards, 2 large, 2 small. I have custom made carbon corner splitters I also have a APR GT300 carbon spoiler. I also have rear carbon air diverters from ShineAuto.
  20. They are both original OEM. The cage is fitted to most Supras, the pods are AFAIK were only fitted to the GZ Supras. The pods are obviously an upgrade
  21. Chris, I’ve sent you a message. May be able to do a deal for my engine and parts for your supra??
