I made the restrictor ring 50mm based on a lot of searching regarding correct size for 1.2 bar boost. The amount of boost will vary car to car and will also change depending on what other modifications have been made. As far as I can see it is far from an exact science!

I have 2.5" 1st and 2nd Decat pipes for a Jspec tt. Also with these are 3 homemade gaskets and a homemade stainless steel 50mm restrictor ring. Everything apart from the 1st Decat pipe is brand new and unused. I`m selling this as I have decided to get Whifbitz to supply and fit all parts. How about £90 collected??? ALL NOW SOLD

I know RS Components stock them and they do a next day delivery. Have you checked all the terminals are tight? If you can get to the contacts you could try cleaning them with a bit of emery cloth, after unplugging the compressor of course!! I hope this helps;)

I can machine you a two part bung that will clamp around the hole. I can make this out of aluminium or black plastic, the choice is yours. All I need to know is the precise diameter of the hole. Please pm me if you`re interested;)

Look closely at the back of the caliper near where the pins sit. It seems to be a pressed metal cover rather than a chrome plated or polished caliper. I`m sure I`ve seen something similar on Ebay recently:d
