I have a TT spark plug cover for sale from my `94 j spec. It has been sprayed with cheapo Halfrauds paint, which has gone manky now and needs rubbing down and respraying. I`m looking for £35 including postage:)

Some impressive looking cars on show there. I`ve booked to go to Florida with my partner next year, and I have a funny feeling that we`ll get lost on the way to the magic kingdom and stop there to ask for directions:eyebrows:

I`m pretty sure my turbo seals have gone (lots of smoke on idle, only when warm) and I`d like some advice on replacing them. After several searches on here, CR turbos seem to have a good reputation and I have been given some prices from them. My main question is how much of a pain is it to replace the turbos yourself? Does anyone have a rough price for a garage to do the replacement for me? What garage would you recommend in the Surrey area if I chose not to do the job myself? Thanks in advance:d

The rear fog lights and brake lights should be alright, but the indicators could be a problem. The flasher relay is set up to work on a specific current draw, and going from 21watts to 1 watt may slow the flash rate or stop it althogether.

I`ve got a J spec airbox in front of me now and the plastic pipe measures 84.0mm diameter;)

Have you looked on Ebay? I`ve used Forward Metals, Metal Mania and Aluminium Droitwich recently for offcuts. All three have been very good to deal with so far.

I have a `94 j spec TT airbox for sale. It has a K&N filter fitted which has only done 1000 miles. The airbox is in very good condition and all the mounting bolts are included. I`m looking for £40 collection preffered.

I have a tt j spec airbox fitted with a K&N panel filter. I think the filter was only in for about 1000 miles. Please pm me if you`re interested.

Are these j spec or uk spec? I`d be interested if they are j spec units.

Why don`t you buy an adjustable type c spanner, there are a fair few on ebay.

I have an active spoiler with motor and undertray for sale. It`s from my 94 Jspec TT auto and the colour of the spoiler is 040 white. There are a few scratches on it , but no splits or cracks. The motor works perfectly and the overall condition is good. I have most of the fixings for it, but no ECU. I`m looking for £170 collection only.

I have one in good working order that was only on my car for about 40,000 miles. Send me a pm if you`re interested.

Thanks for the replies and advice. I`ve raided B&Q this morning and got some 10mm copper tube to make a cooler with. As for the expansion tank, I`ll probably make a stainless one at work.

I`ve spent most of today fitting an xs power intercooler and have a few questions that I would like answering. I can`t see how the active spoiler and first part of the engine under tray can fit back on, do I need to modify these parts or are they left off altogether? The stock radiator expansion tank doesn`t appear to fit now that the intercooler is in place, is this normal? If so, what do I need to do to resolve the problem? The power steering oil cooler no longer fits, do I need this or can I just bypass it? Does anyone have any photos of the fitting of this intercooler and It`s piping so that I can confirm that I have everything in the right place? I have tried the search button but nothing comes up regarding this intercooler
