  1. You mean Taxi drivers right????
  2. No thanks..... I'll stay in a county that has motorways and stuff
  3. Oh.... and it goes for people with cushions, tartan picnic rugs, or a couple of hundredweight of cuddly toys on the rear shelf too
  4. Tyres last between 5 and 6 years if exposed to sunlight, weather etc. 3 years is fine, and the tyre softner will bring their grippyness up a bit It only penetrates about 1mm in though IIRC, so it will need re-applying as the tyres wear
  5. Its hard..... you look after them like kids that never grow up, and you always feel so unbearably bad when they have to be put to sleep. But its the kindest thing to do. I sympathise with you mate
  6. Are any of them wearing a hat while driving? Its a fact that all people that wear a hat while driving are f*****g awful drivers Now, where's my flat cap... I need to pop down the shops
  7. Discussed here: http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070302152605AABendA Personally I'd use the SDS chisel to take the lot off, then screed. If taking them off isn't an option then I'd be going for belt and braces option of grind down the face of the tiles (looks like it will be hard work) then put a layer of 'tile on tile' adhesive over these to ensure bonding, then screed and finally tile over the lot
  8. Don't know if screed does bond to it, but even if it doesn't it shouldn't crack or move. It'll just lay on top of it. I know tile adhesive does though, so if in doubt lay some of that down first. Get the right one for tiling over tiles though
  9. I use Melett for turbo parts http://www.melett.com/ Give them a try.... this may be what you're after? http://www.melett.com/turbo-parts-catalogue/garrett/Garrett-GT37-40.pdf
  10. I'm sure it'll be fine straight onto the tiles as its a solid surface and won't move, so the screed won't crack. If you can tile onto tiles, then you can screed over them, then tile right?
  11. A possibly better and more NVH friendly fix would be to do what I did on my old Daihatsu Charade TD The engine mount was split where the two rubber 'arms' went from the centre to the outer part of the mount, a bit like the one below. I filled the lot (the splits and the voids inbetween the 'arms') with a rubber compound called Loctite 5900, a sort of low volatility silicone. This sets moderately hard and is nearly as tough as the original rubber, yet still quite compliant. One fixed engine mount within 10 minutes (plus curing time)
  12. Nah, you can wash them lol May even improve the taste of the champagne

  14. Pick them yourself. I used to pick thousands as a kid for my dad to make rosehip wine. You can find bushes by the roadside. http://www.almadenelementary.org/home/BioSITE+Guadalupe+Creek+Studies/Field+Day+3+Water+Qual+Testing/111505rosehip.jpg
  15. Tell them to take you to court and you'll bring along 20 witnesses along with photographic/video evidence
