  1. Yarp... happy birthday bud
  2. I agree with Karolina. If each pack of cigarettes had one that explodes and blows your face off it may help you quit ..... a sort of cigarette Russian roulette lol That was the point of the post wasn't it??? Anyway, keep it up Adnan. The first week is the worst, the 3 months after aren't quite as bad
  3. It should be to coast into the car park, then reverse in with a hot engine...... Or even better coast into a space that has a space infront of it, so you're facing out forwards Then there's EOCing (Engine Off Coasting) but its a bit of a dangerous practice However, EOCing into a parking space that has a forward facing space infront of it is the ultimate..... especially if you crawl into the space using EOC and no brakes! That's the ultimate Hypermiler's goal Anyway, reversing out of a space with a cold engine labours the cold engine and uses more fuel than reversing in with a hot engine........ as Rawsacks said Here's a hundred Hypermiling tips for you http://ecomodder.com/forum/EM-hypermiling-driving-tips-ecodriving.php
  4. "The sarcasm is strong with this one."
  5. Maybe he was fed up with people's sarcasm???

  11. 7161..... but how many are paid up members I can't say quite yet without looking further But the user CP says 9231
  12. Try not taking ibuprofen on an empty stomach??? its probably the cause of your pain. maybe take them with milk, if you can keep it down? And thanks for the reported post BTW Jazz ...... Good to see you know how to use the forum after nearly 4 years
  13. I think insurance is something you would need to discuss with the freight operator....... but as they are in the business of freight & haulage you'd hope that they have insurance for the loads they carry!
  14. Probably both would be a good idea, depending on how long JP is planning on staying on the boat? The advantage of a small petrol gen set is that 240 volts would be supplied as well as charging the 12v battery(s).
  15. Want to move big and bulky items across the country cheaply, including cars???? Or just move a package as normal? http://www.shiply.com/ is an innovative new web site which matches people who need things delivered with empty lorries already making journeys in the same area. Shiply say 25% of all lorries on Britain’s roads travel completely empty - that's more than 112,000 lorries pumping out an unnecessary 36 million tonnes of CO2 a year. Members simply list goods and eBay items they need delivered on the site for free, and wait for offers from the thousands of transport providers who are already making similar trips to make a bid. As hauliers are fitting deliveries in with an existing planned route they can offer discounts of up to 75%. Shiply has also developed tools which allow bidders to import items they have won or are currently bidding on from eBay into Shiply – ready to receive to bids from transportation service providers. At any one time there are over 930,000 items listed on eBay which are listed as available for local collection, usually because they're too big (and therefore expensive) to send. Ordinarily, arranging a courier is time consuming and pricey, but Shiply make it simple, easy and cheap. A Daily Telegraph reporter recently used the service and saved £81 moving a sofa from Berkshire to London. Shiply is a great way to save money, avoid congesting Britain's roads further and cut pollution - find out more or give it a try by visiting www.shiply.com.
  16. This is a mother of a battery http://www.carbatteryshop.co.uk/i-610-200-Varta-Silver-Dynamic-Car-Battery-12V-110Ah-Short-Code-I1-Varta-DIN-610-402-092--I3200.html
  17. Hmmmmm I have 'a degree in a related field'..... and plenty of experience of diesel engines
  18. Do you smoke at home?????? Or only at work/in the car/out with friends? One way I found of giving up was to get someone to buy 200 duty free, and I locked them away at home and gave someone else the key. Then when I was out and gagging for a smoke I'd think about buying some from one of those rip off machines, but would think "No, I'll wait until I get home and then open those 200"..... But by the time I got home I didn't fancy having one, so the packet remained locked up I was quite skint at the time though lol Either that or get a mate to punch you in the face every time you try to light one Tricks like that, where you use a combination of clever psychology and extreme violence, will nearly always work
  19. Its arrived Although I'm not too happy about the courier leaving the box outside by the front door. Anyone could have nicked it
  20. Happy Birthday fella! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_cool.gif
