  1. Would this be as hard as it looks to change on the car? I do accept that you will be slightly biased in your answer. Cheers. Bob.
  2. I was after these, but they were sold about a week ago, I don't know to who but like everybody else I realy would be interested to find out how these go. Bob.

    Mountain Bikes

Is your emloyer part of the cycle to wark scheme? if they are you can get a bike with 50% off and my employer lets you pay intrest free over 12 months, great deal. Bob.
  7. does this exhaust do away with the second cat? and would I have to get an extra bit put on for the UK's second O2 sensor? anybody know. Bob.
  8. Emmm, I wondre what stock would look like sprayed gold.
  9. I've never realy understood offset, what does a very weak offset mean? Bob.
  10. We havn't had anything from the main 2 geezers yet guys, Supradibbs, who started it and Tom the "fillem" man. we do need a concerted effort or this isn't going to happen. Bob.
  11. Thanks people, Ill take a look at the internal vanes and check those. I'm a bit vane and I like the look of 3G grooved disks and I always fit Chris's pads and to tell you the trueth I dont see any differance in the stopping power, may be on a track there would be. Reason I asked was I have had them on for three months or so and they make a ticking noise all the timme I've checked everything els and I would have maybe expected it initially but the n to go away as they bed in. Bob.
  12. Do grooved disc's have to be fitted to rotate the correct way, (try and resist the funnie's). The grooves are cut in an arc so does it matter if the curve goes with the direction of rotation or the other way? Bob.
  13. It does depend on what your after, both are good, the auto so much easier and the manual more addaptable. I drove nothing but manuals for over 30 years, swore I would never get an auto..... guess what and I havn't regreted it. As for power and speed not much in it both are good for over 500 hp though to get that you would have to go single or bigger twins. Bob.
  14. As previously said what make of tyre's please? Bob.
  15. Jamesy, you may want to get this moved to the tech section you may get some good hits from some of the top tech hitters. Yes I think you would have to get resistor pack but I'm not sure about ecu, "Keron" is the man to ask about second hand bits. Bob.
  16. Sunday is better than Sateday for me. Bob.
  17. Hi Jamesy, I was always led to beleeve that if you are running full bpu you are better off with UK TT 550 injectors and a UK fuel pump, or equivelant, something to do with the possibillity of running too lean at top end power which can be dangerous. Bob.
  18. Hi Marc. That bit of plastic rubber/looks famillier to me, I had a problem with my throttle about a year ago it was sticking open at nearly W O T which was real sceary, after lots of stripping down and searching I found a bit of plastic/rubber just like that jambed in the throttle. After lots more searching I found that the air pipe that runs from the SMIC along the bottom of the radiator where one of the joints, at the inside end of the pipe, had degraded and bits had broken off and I'm pretty sure thats where the "stuff" came from, looks just like the bit in your pic. Sorry to hear that you're having a lot of s**t and that clutch shouldn't have failed already, should have bought a TT to start with would have been cheaper. Bob.
  19. Hi Metalface, welcome to the club, the Supra in the advert looks pretty good and thats not a bad price for a low milage vvti, as already said there is a buyers guide in the FAQ in the forums which is very good. arm yourself with one then start asking lots of questions and if everything sounds ok, then go and see. Bob.
  20. Are we doing it yet? are we doing it yet? are we doing it yet? ******

    Impending TT :)

Hi and welcome to the club, you will not regret it because there is so much information and really a lot of members who know a lot about Supra's. dont just jump in and do a lot of alterations to the car, give it a while, go through all the forums there's just so much info on the car. A few things I will say is, be carefull (sounding just like your Mom), its very easy to crash one of these if your not used to it and with referance to your BPU you may either have a boost controller or a restrictor ring fitted in your exhaust. If its a boost "con" then there should be a box usually in the cab but sometimes in the engine bay, (about 2 or 3 inch sq by about 1 deep with some sort of readout). With a boost controller you can alter your boost pretty easy but its not advised to go more than 1.2 bar, if its a restrictor ring then you can get a larger one to take you to 1.2. All the best. Bob.
  22. Hi. You were in the car park at the ruined village, I think I just missed you, your hood was still v hot. I wasn't in the soop I was in friends car we had just finnished walking down to the coast and then back along the hills, great walk. What happened to your paint? great colour by the way. Bob.
