  1. Right done all that no change, is there anything I can do about moving the car in gear and therefor the engine? mine is an auto though. I have just put the battery on charge, but there seems to be no problem with it.
  2. I have looked at everything connector wise, but haven't taken off and reconnected. Also I haven't knowingly deactivated the immobiliser but that's what it feels like. I'm going to go out there and do a willey nilley plug desconnect/connect see if that makes a difference.
  3. Hi. I've just done a cam cover gasket and hose change following the thread for valve seal replacement, everything seemed to go ok, put everything back together, double checked everything, went to start it and all that happens is the spark plugs seem to be firing. It just feels as if there is no fuel getting through. I've disconected the battery and left it for a minute then reconnected with no change. All the lights on the dash look the same as normal, the onlything that may be different is once I've tried to start it my allarm light starts flashing. Need the car for work tomorrow. so any help would be greatly accepted. Cheers. Bob.
  4. Hi. just wondered if anyone has any advice/tips/do's or don'ts with fitting OEM sideskirts. Bob.
  5. Thanks Rob, Kev, I want ot do some work on sprucing up both these, I thought if I could get some second hand ones I could do them up first then do a swop when there ready. Unfortunately there only ever seams to be Jspec ones up for sale, I think I'll just do mine all in one go and be stuck without the car for a while. Cheers. Bob.
  6. Have to agree, out of all the mods this, with everything taken into account, is the best, followed closely by BPU. Bob.
  7. Are these the same on Jspec and UK engines? or more accurately are they interchangable? Cheers. Bob.
  8. I have the Greddy profec boost controller fitted and I believe quite a few people use them. I did get the garage to fit this though cos I didn't want anything to go wrong. Its a bit of a PITA to set up but once done "wow" what a differance, it has a low and a high boost setting, and one thing I realy find usefull is it gives you a constant reading of the boost used all the time and you can find out peak boost used too. Mines a UK set up also. Bob.
  9. Depending on start times I shall come up from Southampton and start at Dorking with you, do the Brighton bit, go part way back up towards Gatwick and leave when we get to the 272 near Haywards Heath and head back West. Bob.
  10. Yup, found exactly the same, when I ran 35/36 rear the tyres would always wear a lot more across the center 3". 36 front 33 rear. Bob.
  11. Cheers Jamesy, Iv'e sent supramatt a PM. Bob.
  12. Cheers Andy, you're back, havn't seen you on here for a while, you been out in the sea? Bob.
  13. Anyone know of a good bodyshop/sprayer in the Southampton/Portsmouth/Chitchester/Winchester area need some skirts and a few other bits and bob's doing. Cheers. Bob.
  14. If mat just wants the skirts I'll take the spats, let me know. Cheers. Bob.
  15. Have you got a bit more info on this please, ie milage/age/why selling and will it fit a UK spec auto? Thanks. Bob.
  16. Hi, I'll take you up on £80 delivered please, send me your details and I'll pay pal you the money and my details. Cheers. Bob.
  17. It's not a complicated job but it can be a bit of a pain the first time because you may find everything hard to get off, for one reason or another. Make sure you keep and re-use all the shims springs and pins in the right way, if you seperate the callipers don't loose the small O rings. When doing the rears make sure you fully loosen the hand brake at the disc befor trying to take the discs off. Good luck. Bob.
  18. Sorry people, Bobbie's, mine, mine, mine, mine. Me.
  19. I'LL have this please, let me know how much P&P and your paypal address. Cheers. Bob.
  20. Yes he would, I had one of mine done a short while back and they didn't manage to get the sensor off without busting it so I had them replace with OEM, wow that was pricey about £120 for the sensor. Bob.
  21. Hate to say this but I'm gunna, I can't see anything of a grill on your picie. Bob.
  22. Do they make clutches for auto's?
  23. Hi Luke, is everything, apart from the side repeaters, ok with the front bumper? Im pretty interested but I wouldn't like to go all the way to AFR if its not in a reasonable condition. Why no side repeaters? are they easy to get hold of do you know? Cheers. Bob.
  24. As above, if you havn't got a "fuel cut defencer" fitted your fuel supply is cut as the car approaches 1 bar by your ECU, read up in tech info about fcd. Bob
