  1. FREE. 1 Ticket, my passanger can no longer come and no short notice replacement (just call me Billy). If you would like it let me know, only problem it will have to be picked up at Toddington. Bob.
  2. Hope you dont mind me asking but who is selling and how much for the UK turbo's? as I may be intrested. Bob.
  3. Yes, thats right, in manual mode you use L, 2, and D like 1st 2nd and 3rd, it gives you control over the revs for use on bendy twisty roads and roundabouts. If you want to play a bit manual is better if you wont to poddle or go fast in a stright line then in full auto is best. Bob.
  4. Good day, just a shame the weather wasn,t very good untill about 2, it was like a febuary day and I feel sorry for the early cars on the track that couldn't go more than 3000 revs without spinning. Deffinately the best stand there and a lot of that was to do with the orgenisation, many thanks Lui and everyone else involved. Had to leave at 1.30 wifey had arranged to see relie's while we were over that way. Bob.
  5. Just thought I'd say I'll be bringing about 4 litres of black carpet dye with me and squirter bottle, (havn't got any just wanted to say it), kidding! so first to let me know gets it. (must resist stupid comment). Bob.
  6. Likewise, been going out between showers to clean the car but every time it clears and starts to look alright you go out for half an hour then it comes in and rains again. Ah well it will NOT get the better of me, IT will be ok tomorrow. The car will be full of allsorts, numerous changes of clothing to cover all weathers, stuff for the car, kitchin sink and anything else I can get in. Oh sh*!? hope I can get my wife in. Bob.

    Carpet dye

Did the same as Tigger and it worked perfectly, left it to dry all day before replacing in car. It hasn't worn or washed off on anything yet even in the wet, it did smell, only a bit for about a week then I didn't notice it at all. Bob.

    hi everyone :)

Hi P, hang out for a TT, I have an auto and they are very good, but as already said they can bite very, very hard if you get it wrong, best of look though. Bob.
  9. List for those to convoy up to Reading to meet Lui's, we'll be going from Southampton Parkway BR car park at 0515, post code to follow. 1). BOB B. 2). mark_ffc891.
  10. Hi people. There is less than a week to go now so I thought I would see if any of you are still interested in our own mini convoy up to join Lui's. Any takers let me know and I'll put up a meeting place and times. Bob.

    ringwood meet

Hi. You need to look under the events threads for the South of England, there you will find all the info on meets. Bob.
  12. Hi, Is it more of fast ticking noise that obviously gets quicker as the cars speed does and as you say goes as you brake? The reason I ask is I fitted grooved and dimpled discs with new pads to the front of mine a couple of months ago and with the windows down you could here the quick ticking. I have to say though that mine are getting less noisey as they bed in propperly, but if its a propper knocking sound then it isn't the same. Bob.
  13. Hi Chris. There are a few on here who do parts, Nic and Chris Wilson are two good ones, also have a realy good search through the forums. For tickets to Japfest see Lui on National events on this general page, you'll have to hurry though I think they shut the thread soon. Bob.

  15. Hi James and welcome, good choice of car, keep looking in the classified there is some good cars to be had at the moment, good hunting. Bob.
  16. Cheers, Thanks a lot people, sounds as though from what you are saying it should be no problem with doing it all in one go at the time of the MOT, spot on. Bob.
  17. Hi, please read the thread before you shout at me for not searching, I did have a good look. I, shall give you all the rellevant car info first, I'm a UK spec full BPU with both cats out and Greddy boost controller. I had the car checked for emissions a month before the MOT just in case it passed, it didn't, I have a 1st cat to go in for the MOT. My questions are :- Because of the two O2 sensors on a Uk would it be best to have the cat fitted a few days before to give the ecu a good run around to re-adjust all its mixtures and settings or just get them to fit it, check it, change it back again all in the one go? My second question is if I get the cat fitted and I drive around for a few days will I have to do anything with the settings on my boost controller? Thanks. Bob.
  18. Hi Andy. First time on since Sunday and I would just like to thank you for arranging all the timing from our side, at least we got to Bridport on time . It was good to meet you again and Sue for the first time, I hope she has now warmed up, it was good to meet some new people too (though I have already forgotten most of thier names. Such great weather and a pretty good drive. Thanks. :D Bob.
  19. Ill take the ISCV and throttle sensor, let me know how much in total and I can pay any way you wont, paypal, cheque or transfer and if Supra-brett does'nt take the O2 sensor I'll have that too. Cheers. Bob.
  20. Hi. If I were you I would refurb callapers, fit the 3Gs (good choice) and fit new fast road pads from Chris Wilson, on here. Bob.
  21. Hi, HKS Super dragger sounds like the one you want, it ticks all your points, I have one and it sounds great. Bob.
