  1. As from 13.49 and pending sorting out this is now SUPRAGTEs. Bob.
  2. There has been a lot of interest in this, both on the thread and PM, so the first one on this thread to say they will buy it gets it. Bob.
  3. I've just listened to the whole clip again nearly makes me wish I hadn't bought a new exhaust, what a sound.
  4. In my mind the super Dragger has one of the best sounds nice and deep but not load on tickover up to a real power sound but still not too load. If you go into supra chat there is a thread in therte on exhaust sounds where ther is a Dragger, if you listen to it and then have a look at corrisponding Youtube tracks ther is a few good ones in there. Just checked, its in "vidio your supra exhaust", page 5 when you've listened to the clip look at the one on you tube that is by adamgm84 its 4.21 long, that is one of the truest super dragger sounds I've heard. Bob.
  5. I'm no boffin on this but I think the front is stiffer because there is a little extra weight. Bob.
  6. Sorry Steve, all joints are 80mm. By the way that mid section is in good condition appart from that hole, strange.
  7. Hi. Just changed my suspension for yellow billies and Eibach lowering springs, so I have my standard suspension for sale, spec:- 67,000 miles, still in good condition, everything there for stright swop over, only fault is one of rear springs has lost some of its plastic coating. Maybe a good stop gap for somone who has problems. Price, £100. Delivery, prefered methods, either buyer picks up or I'll travel up to 60 miles for a meet, I could try postage but I would think it would be pricey. Please use the thread for all messages on this. Bob.
  8. ***********************************SOLD***************************** Hi. I have the above exhaust ready to go, the back box is in good condition and has a 5" tail pipe. Mid section has a hole in it where the support hanger is fitted, I was told this could be welded back on again. Price £150. Delivery, either buyer picks up or I'll travel up to 60 miles for meet. Bob.
  9. Hi. I have a set of 4 alloys for sale the spec is as follows:- Fronts 19/8.5J with 35 offset and Falken 452 235/35ZR 19 with lots of tread left. Rears, 19/9.5J with 40 offset and Falken 452 265/30ZR 19 with 1 tyre no tread left and 1 with about 1000 miles left. The alloys all have some kurbing with the fronts the worst, as can be seen in the pictures. Price £300 Delivary, buyer picks up or I will travel up to 60 miles for a meet. Please use this thread for all messages, thanks. There are more pics in my garage but they were a while ago, but it shows what they look like on the car. Bob.
  10. Hi. Syptoms, 2 weeks ago whilest on a very good South coast meet I noticed that I had lost boost and when I did put my foot down there was a louder than normal sucking/blowing noise coming from under the bonnet. Whilest the car was stationary the above was not noticable, I limped home feeling pretty dejected. I spent a few days doing all the normal checks, hoses off/split, going TTC, (no differance), so in the end I handed it over to the garage, . After a few days they phoned me up to say they had found the problem, the EGCV actuator was not moving, they managed to get some pliers on it and initially it moved a couple of mm, with some "manipulation" they got it to move around 2 to 3 cm, took it for a spin and said it was now ok. Got it home took it out only to find that it was exactly the same, phoned them up (obviously a little upset), they now say that they need it back in to strip it all down and take the EGCV actuator off and investigate further, at the same time put the turbos into a turbo shop to have them tested. I have a few questions/worries that some of the more technical/ experanced members might be able to shine some light on. For this work, not including any work on the EGCV actuator will cost £650, about right? Is this a job that an average car D I Yer could do? If the EGCV actuater is completely bust can I get hold of new ones? price? Also I checked my peak boost on my Greddy electronic boost controller after it came back from the garage and it still read the same as it did before it went in (10 psi), surely if he thought he had fixed it and with a test run it should have shown 16 psi set max. Any serious comments on this thread would be greatly accepted, sorry its so long. Bob.
  11. No Its in the garage at the moment and they have spent one day searching and havn't found the problem yet, they have an "expert" coming in on Tuesday to have a look. Once its sorted Im going to put a thread in tech about it, I'm at work at the mo' so can't be on here long. Thanks for asking. Bob.
  12. Hi mate, no I havn't done that yet, I think that will be my next move tomorrow, if the weather holds off, when I do I'll post results. Thanks Luigi, I'll look that up. Cheers. Bob.
  13. Could anybody point me in the right place to find the part numbers for any of the boost/turbo VSVs? I have a boost problem and have been looking for part numbers, especially for IACV and EGBV, I've tried in toyodiy parts and it doesn't seem to cover the turbo "stuff". Thanks. Bob.
  14. Just like to say a big thanks to Fitz for getting us all together for this, up untill Brighton everything was good, then noticed that something wasn't right running through Brighton. I called it a day once we left, didn't want to push my luck and make my drive back longer, so I went back the A27 way. Iv'e lost all boost, checked it out on the way back, in manual mode as well, and no boost from either turbo. So guess I'll be thread searching now, my problems aside it was a good day out. Thanks to all. Bob.
  15. Weather good, drive going to be good, Supra shiney, shiney, good, All is well.

  17. It was a non sealed type and the water was fine. It didn't have any sort of indicator on it, I have been out to Halfrauds and got a HCB 005 Calcium battery now, so should be OK for a while. Bob.
  18. Back up and running, its on again, thread in tech refers. Bob.
  19. Would you believe it, as a last ditch thing last night at 22.00 I put it on charge and this morning it started perfectly. Feel like a numpty now, it was only unused for 3 days and appart from it not turning over everything else worked fine. Thanks for all your help and suggestions I'm just glad I'm up and running, had such a bad nights sleep too. Cheers. Bob.
