  1. I preferred this week to last weeks
  2. Can't help with the viewing but if you haven't seen it already, make sure you have a good look at the buyers guide here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=67644
  3. I hate seeing ads like this, I feel sorry for the newbie that takes it as gospel and ends up getting screwed over
  4. RIP Paul Was meant to see Slipknot at Reading 08 (I think) but they cancelled - Joey was injured and couldn't play. Was totally gutted, they were one of the bands I was most looking forward to.
  5. Sorry to hear this, RIP Spike.
  6. Sorry to hear this mate, i'll keep my eyes and ears open round here and pass it on to my friends.
  7. I'm in the town centre but doesn't really matter, I can go anywhere.
  8. Can anyone recommend me a sound MOT station in or around Bristol? I'm new to garages in this area and don't want to take it somewhere that will end up failing it for allsorts and ripping me off (bad experience in the past). Its just for the diesel runaround so nothing emissions friendly required. Cheers guys
  9. My understanding is its best to go 1 bar and use a boost controller to up the boost to 1.2 bar when required, that way in colder weather won't accidently boost over 1.2 bar. I'm sure someone else will be along to confirm.
  10. My thoughts exactly and the steering wheel needs changing asap IMO. Also hugely optimistic price, when compared to this: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=181613 Which is a lovely car.
  11. Another problem is that although the base rate is low, the rate which banks lend to each other (which traditionally is close to base rate) currently isn't - it's higher (due to recent economic conditions) which of course is passed onto the customers.
  12. I have this headunit and its brilliant. Grab a bargain
  13. I think this is a great idea. The MLR do something similar, one of my mates had a copy lying around which I picked up the other day and found myself enjoying. I'd be willing to contribute in any way that would help.
  14. Hi mate just spoke to him about the offer, he says thanks but £2k is the lowest he can go.
  15. I went to this on the Friday, appreciate their not everyone's cup of tea but for me it was amazing - especially in my home town, good times
  16. Advertising on behalf of a friend, any questions please ask, if I don't know the answer i'll find out:) Hi all, have had to put this up for sale due to me making a return to higher education. I'd love to keep it but unfortunately having any kind of nice ride is not compatible with student life that isn't subsidised by a loan! I'm intending this post to be a no BS, straight forward advert and any questions don't hesitate to ask. Basics: 1993(I think, will need to check the V5! ) R32 GTS that was RB20'd in Japan and was imported only a year or so ago I think. Located in Torbay, South Devon but car could be taken to Bristol next week if necessary, as that's where I'm moving to Mileage indicated is 102k I think but that isn't all miles due to it being converted, also, I don't think the speedo converter is very good as it over-reads quite a bit, meaning the mileage will be less than actually indicated anyway. Furthermore that is mileage on the shell, not the engine which I am led to believe is quite a bit less. I would hazard a guess that due to only being in the country over a year it's most likely that pretty much all indicated mileage is in KM's so I would guess around 60-70k miles if that, and less on the engine I have some history with the car which I will dig out tommorow and list, pretty sure there is a dyno printout in there from the previous owner that shows standard power MOT: 12 Months. Tax: Just over 5 Months (Taxed it on Friday so lost nearly a whole month:() Standard R32 Refinements; Electric Windows, Folding mirrors, etc etc. Good Points: - Pretty solid shell, no rust on arches or pretty much anywhere. Couple of minor rust spots but absolutely nothing major. - Solid Engine/Box/Turbo. Pulls cleanly, revs freely and sounds great with no smoke. - HICAS Locked and all piping/solenoid removed with the feed looped correctly. - HKS Super Dragger back box - De-Cat - Cusco solid front upper camber arms - Walbro - Alloys (No idea of the make!) - 4-pots on the front, I have the rears too but never got round to fitting them, brakes worked fine as is so didn't want to create problems! - K&N M's cone filter - Boost Gauge - Nismo gearknob - Recently replaced MBC/Servo/non-return valve and fully bled and flushed whole brake system through with Silkolene DOT4 Bad Points: - As mentioned before, shell is solid but paintwork isn't the best. It's not terrible but there are some light scratches, scuffs and a couple of tiny dings etc. Pretty much what you expect from 16-year old car. Basically don't expect mint paintwork and you won't be disappointed. - Alloys could do with a refurb or could just be painted (White or Black would look nice) - Interior isn't too bad but it does have a bit of a dash-bubble and the steering wheel is a little tatty. - Has the classic R32 broken bonnet release. The plastic handle snapped off the mechanism in the cabin so the current bonnet release is a pair of Mole-Grips that sit in the drivers door pocket. - The reverse lights currently don't work. It's always been like that but I've just never been bothered enough to fix it. However I should get some time this week at my friends who is fortunate enough to possess a double garage to investigate. Current theories are simply a dodgy connection. However at this point in time class them as not-working. - Speedo overreads a bit, think it's got a dodgy converter fitted? - The boost gauge on the clocks doesn't work, may be to do with the conversion that was carried out. Doesn't really matter since I fitted a better boost gauge anyway. - Drivers seat right-hand bolster is split a bit and showing some foam. Can't really think of any other bad points This car would be a great basis for someone who has more time than me and want's to make a nice R32 (ideal drift car if that's what you're into). The shell and mechanicals are pretty much spot on. You could chuck a set of springs/springs & shocks/coilovers and weld the diff and you will have a fun drifter. I've got a few pics but will get some more tommorow. Will also get engine bay/interior shots. Any questions just ask. I'm wanting 2000 No offers for her considering the shell condition and tax+test. Usual conditions; No time-wasters, tyre-kickers or test-pilots. Etc etc. Pics: From just before I bought it at the beginning of the year: Recent pics: Some interior pics, also showing damage bolster: Oops, also forgot to mention I have the Cat to supply with the car. Also forgot to add that the front 4-pots are hooked up with Conceptua hoses as well.
  17. For sale here: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/parts-sale-private-sales/73771-supra-6spd-getrag.html *Disclaimer: I have absolutley nothing to do with this sale. I simply noticed it whilst looking for 200sx bits on Driftworks and thought it might be of interest to someone on here. I therefore cannot vouch for this item or the seller in any way*
  18. Sorry to hear this Glad you managed to put the fire out though.
  19. I've just installed it and think it looks really good so far, very fast. The only problem i'm having is that the scroll section on the side of the laptop mouse pad has become hyper sensitive so I zoom from the top of any page to the bottom. Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it? Cheers
