  1. Quick question, do you know how much this affects your credit rating? Does it take a huge chunk off or just a small amount? Cheers
  2. Nope still here just got in from work
  3. Ibiza or Fabia Tdi? Hatchback and not bad, i think they have the same 1.9tdi pd engine that is in the golf/passat as well.
  4. Swimming, have been training and competing for 10 years now
  5. I had almost exactly the same problem, battery seemed to be ok, car would unlock all lights would come on and everything but when you tried to start all that happened was a loud "click" sound (solenoid on starter motor activating) but nothing else would happen. Changed the battery and hey presto problem solved
  6. Yeah sorry I was in the diesel runaround lol - didnt think of that, if you had seen me you would have thought I was crazy randomly waving! Cheers for the offer - may well do sometime when I get a spare minute
  7. Ah ok it was hell, took me 2hrs to get from the M4/M5 merge to the Cribbs junction. Not happy lol.
  8. Nice car I waved but I don't think you saw me lol. Traffic was a nightmare! I only wanted to pop to Asda @ Cribbs, the round trip took 3 1/2 hrs! I wonder what the hell happened.
  9. Great idea, although I suppose all the older kids will just buy it for the younger kids but its a step in the right direction. This also is definatley now in place, I have seen posters advertising this change over the last couple of months.
  10. Branners I would assume as he started the club (Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)
  11. My money would be on the headgasket Take it back mate - find yourself a different car
  12. This happened to me a few months back, it was on a verso, some bastard broke into the car, went into the glovebox (to try and find satnav) and stole the removal nut that was in there! Ended up taking it to the local tyre place and they got them all off no problem, no damage to wheels or anything. I think they may have used an air chisel - so worth popping into somewhere local and asking. Only cost £20 inc new nuts
  13. Update: Following on from your suggestions I changed the battery to a new Halfords HB005, this seemed to solve the problem and the car has started and driven fine since, useage has been fairly regular. Anyway today I attempted to start the car (to take it for a service ironically ) and its the same old story, all i'm getting is "click" and nothing else. The car was used the day before yesterday. So i'm thinking, either the battery is flat again or its the starter motor contacts (but seems unlikley as was working fine before). What would be the best way to check to see if the battery is flat, and if so, does this mean there is an electrical problem somewhere to drain a brand new battery in two days? What would be the best way to go about diagnosing what the problem may be? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers James
  14. From BBC: A post-mortem examination discovered a marrow fat embolism from the untreated broken thigh had invaded his lungs, starved his brain of oxygen and caused death. Sick f*cks, I hope they burn in hell.
  15. Congratulations mate, enjoy it
