  1. Thanks a lot mate, you have PM
  2. Lol boredom had struck and I saw that thread about venting the stock BOV to atmosphere and thought if it only took 5 mins I would give it a whirl. That will teach me to be a
  3. I'm not sure if the fitment is the same, but i'm after the two circled in the picture. Do they look similar? Cheers mate
  4. I just tried to remove the stock BOV and as soon as I started to remove the two big hoses, they cracked and split. Is this a common problem? Any suggestions as to where I can aquire a replacement asap? Thanks, James
  5. Has anyone had an experience of working on Evo's? I changed the clutch yesterday on an Evo 6 and it was ridiculously hard work. Well wish we had taken it to a garage, everything needed to come off and there was virtually no space at all, everything was so crammed in. Are Supra's this difficult to work on? Or am I just being a big girl
  6. This place rings with echoes of Lives once lived, but now are lost Times spent wondering about tomorrow I don't care, if we lose it all tonight Up in flames, burning bright Warming the air of the world "I don't love you anymore", is all I remember you telling me, never have I felt so cold But I've no more blood to bleed 'cause my heart has been draining into the sea Steps I take in your footsteps Are getting me closer to what is left Of the dreams of what I once claimed to know Within my bones this resonates Boiling blood will circulate Could you tell me again what you did this for? "I don't love you anymore", is all I remember you telling me, never have I felt so cold But I've no more blood to bleed 'cause my heart has been draining into the sea Well still I wait with a hope inside of me (inside of me) So still I wait until again we meet, until again we meet Within my bones this resonates Boiling blood will circulate Could you tell me again what you did this for? "I don't love you anymore", is all I remember you telling me, never have I felt so cold But I've no more blood to bleed 'cause my heart has been draining into the sea And still I wait with a hope inside of me And still I wait. 7. The recent stock supra thread really made me appreciate just how good looking the car is in its original form.
  8. On the heat related note - whats the condition of your Intercooler like? Are you still running stock?
  9. Sounds like I need a new battery I've had a look in the battery FAQ and will probably get the Halfords one tomorrow. The existing battery is very old anyway so even if it doesn't solve the problem a new one would have been a good idea sooner or later anyway. Thanks for the advice everyone
  10. Ha Ha £100! I have one here that I bought in America (in Toys R' Us lol) for about $20 (£10) I think. Rear wing has snapped off though so i'll accept £75, any takers?
  11. There are notorious problems with the engines in the IV (not to say all) but they suffer frequently from what I think is called crankwalk, i'm not quite sure exactly what happens but my mate has a IV which only 2 months after he bought it went that way and now £2500 and untold hrs of work later it has a VI engine in it! So my advice would be go for a VI and save yourself all the hassle I have seen him go through! I think the VI has a little more torque and better brakes too
  12. Hi guys, History: I have been having some problems with the battery going flat over the last few months - have always solved it by charging overnight and then the next day no problems starting. The battery seemed to be fine as long as the car is used fairly regularly. Problem: The car has been idle for 3 weeks and I tried to start it and you guessed it - nothing, took the battery out and charged it up, put it back in this morning and won't start. When you turn the key to start there's a whirring and a loud "click" noise and nothing else. It tried to turn over once on about the third attempt but only for about 1/2 a second before the "click" noise. I'm confident it's not an alarm/immobiliser problem and everything else seems to be working fine. I'm a bit worried because just charging the battery seems to have solved the problem in the past. So do you think it's new battery time? Or is there anything else you suggest I check first? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, James p.s. sorry about the long explanation!

    Skydive!

You will love it! I did a 14,000ft tandum jump in Australia and it was one of the best things I have ever done. Just go for it, you won't regret it
  14. I used a red hot unwound paper clip to burn one off me before - sort of stabbed it in the back with it. Once it had been burnt it sort of let go and could be easily removed.
  15. Looks like you can be paid quite well for training as well: http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/Job.aspx?id=229
  16. This does seem like it would make sense but wasn't it running ok before this problem suddenly started? If this is the problem I would have thought the symptoms would have been experienced since the pumps installation
  17. Didn't somone try this with a supe? Think it might have been arnout Edit: Yea it was Arnout, pics in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=53696
  18. I understand why you got so angry, I have felt the same way on a number of occasions before. However, recently I was involved in an incident where I was crossing the road at a zebra crossing with my missus and three of my friends when a nutjob in a 4x4 intentionally sped towards us, hitting me and pushing me backwards onto the pavement before driving off - he then stopped about 10 metres further on and reversed back for another go! I had never experienced unprovoked agression at this level before - somone could easily have been killed. At the time I was far to shocked to do anything but it has made me realise that there are some such total nutters on the road that someone you stop and argue with could so easily shoot/stab etc you that its really not worth it! Take care on the roads guys they really are a crazy place
  19. I'm going all out today - feel a bit risky This will completley wipe out all profit so far if it doesn't go to plan though! Good luck everyone
  20. If Artimino wins should make me about £100. Otherwise im gona end up -£20 today.
