  1. If I didn't already have a gazillion daft locations for instruments, this would be a good one to have had last year for me ROFL

    Zimbabwe...

We here in the UK seriously need to put our own house in order before committing anything to any foreign issues. We have made enough mistakes with foreign policy to the sad cost of our brave under-appreciated armed forces at the hands of what equates to bean counters and public relations spin doctors. The world is hating us along with our compatriots. We have all as societies (countries/governments/religions/sects etc) made mistakes, but the base point is our governments keep f*cking up and we the people that reap the whirlwind seem powerless to put them straight about how we all feel!? Aren't the government supposed to answer to the people in western society? How did this happen? Governments put a humanitarian/global economy/environmental/imminent terrorist spin on every action they perform, but it is a thinly veiled set of excuses to cover economical and political agenda that I for one am unsure is as altruistic or even benign as they imply.
  4. Fiendishly addictive A couple of spoiler type weird contraptions from the earlier levels which made me laugh: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=30734 http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=30673 http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=30813
  5. Check out: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/overlays.html GPolyline - Drawing Poly lines into a layer may be what you are after? e.g. from the above: var polyline = new GPolyline([ new GLatLng(37.4419, -122.1419), new GLatLng(37.4519, -122.1519) ], "#ff0000", 10); map.addOverlay(polyline); Edit: Actually just about any of the drawing stuff below that point looks cool... might start playing with that myself :D:D Cheers, Si.
  6. lol reminded me of this that was doing the rounds a while back (probably been on here before): http://www.istslice.co.uk/pics/oses.jpg
  7. Hiya I may have a JSpec tubbie pack in hand shortly as mine are unceremoniously removed to make way for a single. As above, perfect working order as the car was running just fine. May be a week or two though will keep you posted
  8. Hiya, It seems that I am in need of a rear shock or possibly both shocks if they are coming as pair (to say the near side one is a bit moist is an understatement!) for a 1994 import NA (not sure it makes a huge difference specifying the model but saying so in case there is an issue with ones being offered). With spring(s) as complete unit(s) would be preferred but not essential (just reduces PITA quotient). Needed quite desperately so willing to collect if not a million miles away (In Reading). Cheers, Simon. ** NO LONGER NEEDED ** ** Cheers kosmic **
  9. Out of seven people I know that went with talk talk 3 months ago, seven of them are extremely unhappy. I guess it speaks for itself sadly On the other hand, out of 5 that went with BE (https://www.bethere.co.uk/ Note: I am sod all to do with these guys and don't use them myself, just passing on the love), 5 are completely bleeding chuffed with their broadband service and probably get a better service than I do on Virgin - Virgin doing ok by me, although getting a few frowns for their corporate bending overs recently!! Corporate asshats!

    Earliest memory

4 years old, stung by a jelly fish in Tenby west wales!! (tends to stick on your mind).
  11. In being offered a currently essential commodity that is outrageously priced with absurd explanations to the pricing structure that I am completely unconvinced of, I am sad (or happy) to state that I'm seriously considering moving out of the country. One less customer for the government. I agree things need to be addressed, we haven't been doing things quite right for many years, but the reactionary speed of taxation and knee jerk over charging FAR exceed the governments feeble attempts at fixing the problem in a more economically and socially viable way. They are wrong... so very very wrong They are milking us all and hiding behind the whole environment issue to a point that trying to argue against them leaves you in a socially untenable position!! what is with that!?!. As a voter and someone that never voted them in, and regular petitioner of things I see unjust - I see no change in the country or its policies and feel there is no other recourse than to just simply leave... sorry guys, I feel such a splitter - but that is my final consideration as I feel completely impotent in today's climate
  12. Erk. I had better check why this isn't the case then bud! Cheers for the heads up on that.
  13. Taking the power away from the Thor unit is sometimes enough to reset the problem. I found disconnecting the battery for 2 minutes then reconnecting it sorted this problem out for me. It has only happened the once mind you and it was a jump start that fragged it.

    Sexsomnia

*Squirrels that one away for a rainy day*... jees. I am sure I would accept that as a valid excuse for someone climbing on my daughter for a romp while she yelped NO! Erm... if he knew he was prone to that sort of behaviour, shouldn't he be seeking help? I would like to see evidence of him recognising his problems (if previous evidence of behaviour is being used in evidence for his defence) and seeking professional help, not some testimony from his missus that he fondled her bits whilst sleeping! (another *yeah roight* moment). A bit of a step up from peeing in the cupboard methinks.
  15. Yes indeed Amigo, I can take PayPal, bank transfer also Queens head folding gift tokens accepted . If you want we can take to PM's to discuss? I can post (I'll only post it special delivery - or another insured courier method if you prefer - as that is as near a guarantee of you getting it as soon as possible with suitable insurance on it) or you can pick up, both are acceptable, I don't mind either.
  16. As mentioned, it all depends on what ECU / piggyback system you are currently using as to what gains can be offered here. I should imagine you have something other than a stock NA ecu under the hood (I bloody well hope so anyway). The AEM EMS is an extremely configurable plug and play engine management system (well plug and play in as much as it just fits into the OEM factory loom with no hair raising splicing of wires). Feature list as long as your arm. In the hands of a capable tuner you will reap many rewards from this system. A few guys on here run AEM's and do all sorts of imaginative things with them. Bolting on extras afterwards isn't such a chore, as it has facilities for just about any gadget you may want to put on your car - well as I say - huge feature list. That being said, there are many other options out there that could give you the same basic power/tuning benefits, it all depends on where you want to go with it and if you can source a decent AEM mapper. Cheers, Simon. Edit: Thought I would add the standard blurb that AEM say about the unit: Plug & Play Engine Management Systems AEM's Plug & Play Engine Management System (EMS) plugs directly into a vehicle's factory ECU harness and requires no additional wiring or hardware. Windows™ compatible software (2000, XP, NT, 98, 95, ME) makes the task of copying, viewing and manipulating data as simple as a click of the mouse. An integrated tuning wizard allows users to create a base map specifically for a car’s configuration, regardless of what type of injectors, sensors, coils or other changes have been made. The AEM EMS's infinitely adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately delivers proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for any boost level or operating condition.
  17. Condolences on loss but I do love the new additions to your family!

    Kitten help!

Common problem. My cat gets it from time to time - depends what she has been "in to". Warm water on kitchen towel, clean it up, they don't normally mind. Keep it clean and make sure it doesn't get worse
