  1. I had to zoom out a bit to find where the polygon had ... gone I am sure there is a joke in there somewhere. http://www.istslice.co.uk/pics/a08654/mapsnapshot.png Edit: p.s. I meant to mention MacOS 10.5.4 using Firefox 3.0.1. Edit2: p.p.s Looks to work on Firefox 3.0.1 on WindowsXP and also IE 7.
  2. Yup. I see cats and weird shapes in the shadows - first sign of sleep deprivation for me. After a prolonged period of sleep interruption I start hearing familiar voices as I try and drop off to sleep - sounding like mother shouting up to me for dinner or something, with further deprivation comes the loud bangs that nobody else hears - at that point I reach for the phone and call the doc . I had bad sleep problems last year which required some minor intervention from the doc who put me on Amitriptyline which worked a charm! Managed to reset my sleep pattern after a short course... back to broken sleep again at the moment sadly, but no cats in the shadows yet... except the real one!
  3. I try not to eat any of the above any more btw Been on a diet which pretty much excludes most of the old favorite left overs... I find myself a salad man these days.... you watch I will be the first man to die of lettuce poisoning after all the woe I have put my internals through!!!
  4. My last bout of this turned out to be a effin warped disc (but that was intermittent squeaky).
  5. Ex student.. immune to all! Have eaten 5 day old cold meat feast pizza not stored in fridge. Have eaten 3 day old prawn cocktail non-refrigerated, no sweat. Have eaten 2 week old lamb madras, spent two days on the side then put in fridge. Have eaten 7 day past date pork sausages left on side after cooking for an extra 4 days with no issue. Numerous curries from local curry house rice+chicken+sauce left on side for an evening then put in fridge, eaten 3 days later. Fine! No side effects! Last thing that upset my guts was a fresh tuna salad believe it or not!!! (I think my body doesn't like fresh food anymore!!).
  6. Depends what you want from a phone, depends what you want to spend on a phone and the contract. My 3 contract ran out so I said eff orf, and they came back and said ok - 12 month contract @ £20 month with 50 extra texts a month and +200 mins and unlimited internet and a new Sony Ericsson K800i (this was a few months ago and you can buy a SE K800i for 70 notes now pay as you go)) - I couldn't say no at the time and the phone is fine as a phone - in fact I like it very much (sad to say as a prior Nokia fan boi that its API's/features out shone Nokias Series 40/60 by a mile), actually not bad at all as a camera and fine for feckin about with and 3 have their own cell linked GPS for google maps. (I write software for phones too, and it fares quite well). The iPhone is a lovely piece of kit - I cannot justify it for my own needs. I develop for the bloody thing, yet it is too expensive for me to shell out for. I get time share with developers from my company so I see it whenever. I would rather buy new drop links for the Supra than shell out for an iPhone mind Horses for courses.
  7. Reading prices seem to buck the trend don't they Are you trying to get away from me that badly I know I would! Looking at going further abroad personally New Zealand is beckoning.... (think I have some Tein spanners laying about)

    Karting....

Rarr, go go good team Good luck and fingers crossed! p.s. cheers for the "Nice Rack" mate
  9. I missed this thread originally mate - I so feel for you. My moggy is coming up to 9 years and I have no idea what I would do without her... no more snuggles and excuses to stay in bed on the weekends because the cat had "only just got comfy snugglin" . I know their time is fleeting compared to ours and we have to let em go - but it is bloody hard and heart wrenching. Chin up chap! Happy memories of a furry mouse worrier that knew they were loved!
  10. wut, yo iz dizzn ma gud homy bro in da hud an speks da propa pimpz nglizh. Makes my eyes bleed reading it!

    suspension

Aesthetically speaking it seemed mine took an hour or so to settle while sat in the yard (that was the time between lowering it off the jack to driving it as it looked good to go) - it felt really weird for a while so drove it back home after 10 minutes of clonking around. Took her out the next day and everything seemed to be just right! So a little extra time overnight seemed to make the difference feel wise, but visually the suspension settled relatively quickly.
  12. The car looks relatively good. "Supercharger" aside - (I don't think it does any harm having a hair dryer in the pipe does it?) - the car IS relatively stock looking. The daft switch will be an override for the hair^H^H^H^Hsupercharger. Nothing extreme other than the decals to consider and the interior looks pretty damned good. At least the Chav seems to have looked after her in a relatively ok way!! (I don't think he would have to uprate the fuel pressure reg or injectors to cope with the immense power of the asthmatic ex smoking squirrel breathing into the engine so it should be sound ). Mostly aesthetic work to make this a very nice NA.
  13. I haven't tried the Belkin wireless PCI cards so I sadly cannot comment - vintage may be an issue? I have had some sh*t experience with D-Link and Linksys - Linksys being the worse of the two I played with, but again - that was some years ago so I cannot damn them to hell. I purchased a real cheap and nasty never heard of wireless router and wifi card for a friends business (from dabs.com) that wanted to do something on the real cheap (I can't even remember the name on the box as I had never heard of it but it was a steal) - and it worked perfectly and still works to this day lol.... (there is hope for XS power products yet hehehe). The Belkin N1 View router I have has been operating flawlessly since I have had it though (buttons for the display functions are irritatingly hard to press, but work fine). Cracking piece of kit so I cannot condemn the whole brand on that point. I also have a Belkin Bluetooth USB dongle that just works and has done for the last 3 years /shrug. My Mac Mini sits on top of a Belkin USB/Firewire router which has never failed me. You get good and bad with all I guess Google be thy friend when looking for stuff like this. There will always be people that had problems or know someone that had problems, but look beyond that - if you still see problems - then junk the idea. Never had any problems with Netgear stuff until recently when my netgear gigabit network card simply croaked - still love the brand as I have tons of other stuff by them that is pukka.
  14. Silver Sup (not many of them about eh?) - with a body kit - lol... narrows it down a bit... Possibly N reg, maybe the number plate was flat... maybe Blonde/Fair haired. Ok, in Hick country that would mean half the silver supra owners black/white/yellow/brown/bald/bearded would have been beaten to death by now Christ this is annoying! Hard to tell if it is someone stirring hate, has a histrionic girlfriend or if there is a legitimate weirdo owning a Sup (ok we are mostly all weird but hey, we have our standards). If it turns out to be legit, I hope the silly beggar is caught out named and shamed! Not liking the undertones though - this will marry silver Supra with Pervert in those guys minds judging by some of the posts (http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90607).
  15. You always have to drive FOR everyone else it seems

    Eve online

I dabble from time to time. Haven't bothered joining a corp - been offered lots Have some friends playing that I both work with and used to work with - ends up being a glorified messenger on times, with a little killing on the side . Based out of timid old Abudban at the moment - easy reach of Rens for flogging crap picked up from missions and rats - looking to move so I can tinker with some more Level IV kill missions. I get bored from time to time and put it down for a few weeks leaving a big assed skill running, then feel the urge to step back in my Caldari Navy Raven .... *steps back into the geek closet and closes door quietly behind himself*
  18. I would actually be interested to know what the law is in this country regarding such things (are there any sensible online guides to this, or is it a job of having to refer to a learned individual)? I assume there must be some UK precedents on file somewhere? They appear to be a small company without any web presence (yet?) there is every possibility you will pass unnoticed, but Pete makes a more than fair point!! Someone may hear locally about them and look them up on the internet only to find your site (nothing to do with the guys they were looking for, which may get flagged). Maybe investigate them a bit more, how long have they been trading, how big they are, are they doing anything in the same business area as you - if completely paranoid you could always approach them and check they actually don't mind and put some agreement in place that you won't tread on each others toes or some such. Worst comes to worst, register an alternate address.
  19. I use LED's in mine - they are about 10 times better than basic bulbs. Haven't checked what is available on the market recently but they were super hi brights with wide angle dispersion in a 8-9 LED configuration (I think - would have to go look and am too lazy to poke them out of the unit ).... I think a fair few places must sell them these days (I think I got mine from ultraleds.co.uk a few years back and they are still going strong).
  20. In the spirit of one upmanship: "Progressive Solar Developments" "Extensible Solar Developments" "Solar Incentives" "Progressive Solar Solutions" or my fave: "ACME Solar Stuff" ;)
  21. If you register it and they haven't then that's fine, sounds like it is suitable for your line of upcoming business so there is no case for Cyber Squatting or whatever it is these big American lawyers come up with etc. (plus we aint in America ) More than likely these guys wont even notice you Amigo.
  22. 8 years = something in the region of (max cap) £2650 (+/- unpaid/worked holiday capped at £331 per unpaid week depending on your salary/contract) if you are relying on the government to bail you out (this will not be paid if you simply walk out - you need to be made redundant). You may have more luck if the company is expecting to remain solvent after letting you go though . Potential benefits and NI contributions can get screwed if you just walk out (plus check conditions on any form of unemployment insurance you may have on credit agreements/mortgage - you will find they take a dim view of you walking out as that is self inflicted unless you take someone to a tribunal and claim constructive dismissal... good lord almost not worth the hassle there ).
  23. That seems to rule out the gearbox. Edit: Not being funny... catalytic converter heat shield? (tinny rattle vibration?)
  24. Having my NA back recnetly to drive before getting my single sorted (end of next month all things going well) - it seems that not a day goes by without someone trying to kill me!!! Did I miss the memo stating all asshats have to drive at Supras at maximum chav speed without due care for anyone's safety!?!?! I shan't mention the bloody deer that tried to become a permanent hood ornament this evening (not the monkjack type - but the big bugger!) !! Gah!
