  1. So how do I adjust it Kev? Funny thing, I'm still not convinced they are glass.... Any real way to tell? I thought these would way about the same as a dead cow...
  2. I figured that's what it was but I thought that was brought in on the facelift alone. How do I get round that?
  3. Sorry Fitz I miss read your post I thought you said you tried Steve Manley, hance I asked, what did he say. Collected today, What is that motor on the back? I don't remember that on my J-specs.... http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/9524/dsc00320jt.jpg http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/5364/dsc00321pl.jpg Ps. The blue is light reflection.
  4. And what did he say? Don't know m8 pre facelift and uk were the same price to me, I payed £283 including vat and 4 bulbs.
  5. Sounds like the toothed inner plastic strip has snapped, mine did the same. I still have the card it came on next to me. If anyone is interested here's the part number. 86337-14411
  6. What you think I should volunteer another £30 or so to ease my conscience?
  7. Yep Mr. T in Worcester ( I get a regular customer discount) Oddly enough I went to pick them up today and they were new pre facelift plastic. After quoting a uk reg plate to them they managed to order me some glass ones for tomorrow at the same price the system said the plastic ones were.
  8. I paid £270 today without the bulbs, bulbs are an extra £6
  9. I bought lights this morning, will be in tomorrow.
  10. I phoned Toyota this morning and got a guote of £270 for the lights without bulbs, bulbs are £80 for the set.
  11. If you buy glass lights from Mr. T can you not just use the bulbs from the j-spec?
  12. I normally just get in and go, but I'm not leaving the drive as if I'm doing the quarter.
  13. It's not that m8. The first picture shows the weld I had done to repair a crack it's splitting on a bend not a weld. I think the bend is so sevear on a thin piece of metal, it's just cr@pping out. I will ask Radtec about this and post up what they reply, if anything...... Unless they tell me what to go do with myself...
  14. I'm guessing your not saying your intercooler cracks in cold weather? It's not just cold weather for me m8, it's when the block is cold.
  15. Which one do you need? 55537-14020 is the one on the right (active spoiler) 55538-14020 is on the left (seat heater) according to the epc ?????? That can't be right.... I have a 37 here that I took from the seat heater slot... Think I'd order both from Mr. T and have a spare, can't be more than £5 each.
  16. Update. I noticed the other day that there was oil on the black strip of the front bumper, drivers side again..... This was caused by a crack in the inter cooler, after I got it fixed the car ran great for a week or two. Today I took the smic out and bugger me it's cracked down the back edge now.. Original crack after repair welding. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/76/dsc00323bx.jpg New crack in green and location of original crack in red. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/2117/dsc00322bx.jpg For the reckoning this is the Miami-gt 165mm big one. Looks like the hard corner is a week spot. Should be fixed on Monday so lets see what mid week brings.
  17. I bought the model in the link below before the real thing. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TAMIYA-TOYOTA-SUPRA-MK4-MKIV-NA-TWIN-TURBO-MODEL-KIT_W0QQitemZ260509536364QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN?hash=item3ca794106c
  18. Well you've certainly got his age!
  19. If the colour bugs you Dunk; paint it. Seriously, you can't beat the few sunny days we get in this country, roof off windows down...... Thomas Magnum all the way. At times like that you wont give a stuff about the "body wobble corners bad", blah, blah, blah comments. In the words of Richard Hammond... "I am a driving God!!!"
  20. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3514/image1ie.jpg This is what feeds the air from the scoop to the manifold. Please note. The jspec manifold doesn't have the up bolts to locate this nor does the heat shield have the cut out for it. But it is possible to cut the heatshield without removing it from the car. Only do this if you wish to be anal though. http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/5865/dsc00279l.jpg Sorry for picture bombing your thread.
  21. Yeah, whatever you say old man!
