  1. Good luck with that. How they look in a pillar. http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9906/p9050001dx3.th.jpg http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/3940/dsc00167zu0.th.jpg
  2. I do like the look of the VXR8 looks like a real monster.
  3. Sorry, my first post was after your first, you must have typed up your second while I was typing. If it was just a case of stolen recovery, get a mechanic to give it a going over. But by the sound of it the Dealer comes with Denis Waterman to watch his back.

in IE click help then about to get version.
  5. I've never seen an issue buying a stolen car, not that I've done it but as long as it's not been smashed/thrashed in a police chase what's the problem.
  6. Absolute bargain, I have these in my car, I think these are as near to stock look as it gets.
  7. I'll check the exhaust tomorrow when I get the car back after that I think I'll have to look into the water sensor.
  8. Nice Chris, I thought you owned a zoo back in 05 when I visited.
  9. The only issue with the blocked exhause sytem idea I have is wouldn't I have the issue regardless of weather the car is cold or hot, as I only have the problem when engine temp is cold? I dunno; I still keep thinking cold running (choke) mixture issue....

If it's IE 8 you can manually delete them. Click the drop down and hover over one of them, you should see a red x on the right of the one your hovering over, clicking it will remove it. not the best fix, but a fix all the same. I think I'd download ie8 and reinstall it.
  11. Yes, it has your dc pipes and nur spec. Lol, I was just about to go and check this; the cars in the body shop in a different town.... Is there a way to check this? Nope, running on Castrol semi skimmed as always.

Hey Dunk! What version of IE are you using? What you've done (clear history) should of done the trick, maybe it needs a restart. Xp or Vista?
  13. Looks good, I know the bomex nose has always been linked to The Fast And Furious but I like it, it's one of the nicer fronts imo.
  14. It can't be the breaks Chris it has to be engine side. The slowing down you could put to brakes but it's not that kind of slowing. It's more like what I had with an old car when the piston seized, like being in a manual in gear and the engine dies, it's that kind of slowing up, then the rev clock climbs 1 digit and it carries on fine. Also if you accelerate reasonably firm up to about 40 and then ease of a touch you can get a physical lurch (lick dabbing the break pedal firmly) and a kind of miss fire down the exhaust. At the point when it lurches it goes quiet, it's like instant fuel cut.
  15. I fixed the ic a while back but I was wondering if the crack could of caused something else to trip out. What does the mass air flow sensor look like?
  16. Would it make a difference that I've been running with a crack in my intercooler for a year or so?
  17. That sounds interesting I might give it a go when I get it back from the body shop. I think Chris was the last to do it in 2005. How often should it be done? I just edited my previous post I said Chris did a service in 95 it was 05 not 95
  18. I don't think so Chris, fluid is good and box works fine. It feels like I'm having a mixture problem when the engine is cold.... Too much air, not enough fuel or vice versa and the management is having to compensate. I have no problems once it gets warmed up. On a different note and it's done this since I've had the car so seperate from the other problem. I'f I'm on the motorway with cruise on for no apparent reason it will occasionally drop into 3rd and back into 4th after about 2/3 seconds???
  19. Yes Chris I brought it to you back in 05 you did service and fitted de-cat, Father lives in Shawbury silver GZ Aero. You probably see loads so I should'nt expect you to remember.
  20. My GZ http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/2475/dsc00296e.jpg I just reached in and sanded it off and painted before fitting grill.
  21. lol. If in doubt take your vin plate number to mr T and ask.
