  1. I know, I've had mine two years and the wheels have never had to come off yet! but I'm about to get new tyres fitted in the next week or so, so they will be coming off as soon as I get a chance to take a look at it
  2. hey, I'm pondering the same problem. OEM side skirts and the car is so frigging low I can't get the trolley jack under it. I can't see where to put the scissor jack either, to get the thing started for the trolley jack...
  3. ahhh yeah I think that's the one I see all the time in hove? well I used to anyway
  4. hmm I'll swap mine with you no way
  5. lol nice one, I'm sure an autobox in a robin would have made it alright after all 3 wheels, 3 gears, kinda seems about right
  6. they made a lot of robin reliants too, not sure what that tells us
  7. yeah for sure, gt4 on the ps2 (love the ring) is amazing on a projector and good sound system, can't even imagine how good it might be with a newer gen gaming machine
  8. lol if you're only into drag 1/4s but then as ryan proved, if he can get into the 8s with a stock manual box, then the finger points to the driver not the transmission not that I claim to do any better, but I'm not a 1/4 mile man much anyway, prefer real road and track use
  9. It's not, it's just a lump of metal lol I saw in another thread people having trouble getting top speed because full throttle would kick down a gear, or vice versa it would change up before the red-line. I take it these are faults (common or not) and a correctly working auto box does at least a half decent job here. In which case, what's the need for manual mode anyway?
  10. it's probably a bit specialist for here, ebay might give better results, wider audience my 2 year old projector is 700:1 contrast and I thought that was low at the time!
  11. oh, no access to o/d in manual mode?
  12. if you hold it in gear using manual mode I believe, still only a max of 4 gears not 6, but if you're ok with that, test drive time
  13. your left foot might feel a bit redundant, unless you get into left foot braking (probably not much point in an auto). Other than that, one suggestion TEST DRIVE lol

There might well be some nice ones out there, I'm just yet to meet them. But I don't think it's a coincidence that things go missing, buildings get broken into and windows just get smashed within hours of them moving into the area.
  16. lol so bottom of the ninth must mean something equivalent to "you've had it" or "on the ropes" not sure what a sophmore metaphor would mean, but you're not asking that, just the literal meaning valid dictorian must mean "you're da man" or "top dog" I guess, but we are talking American here, could mean anything lol
  17. sorry but that's actually hypothetically speaking (well I hope it is!) a metaphor is an abstract comparison or representation, a figure of speech so to speak

    lol that's a worry then!
  19. A tad pricey then, I think some sort of gravitational slingshot might be needed, even if you were using an NA!
  20. lol and that looked like the field near me until the other day, I would have agreed to nuke it too!
  21. oh yes for sure, it's literally on our doorstep, but it's a frigging big doorstep all the same!!!
  22. is rather exciting, even just to find planets with remotely suitable conditions for life so close to home (that is not in our back yard, that is like on our doorstep!) is very encouraging for the possibility of life elsewhere... Which I'm personally fairly sure there will be, the universe is mind bogglingly big and diverse... however, at 20 light years if they were as advanced as us we'd know because of the radio waves that would have spread out since 20 years ago. So for life there, they would think we were back in the 80's lol and they could be as advanced as say the victorians and we'd never even know (complete radio silence!). but, life on a different planet, hard to imagine what it could be like. There is life on the Earth stranger than our wildest imagination, you can bet life elsewhere will be nothing resembling humans lol
  23. right, but then the limiter would need to kick in at say 75, otherwise whats the point? and at that speed, why not get a ford focus or something
