  1. Yeah, good idea. Mine's going in for a full spray at the end of next month so I was sort of wondering what the process was too - i.e. is it typical that a bodyshop would usually take care of it. If its any help, these are the prices (inc. VAT) that I was quoted from our local Toyota at the end of last year.... COST EXTERIOR TRIM £21.24 SEAL, HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL - 53395-14010 (Bonnet Rubber Strip) 10% Owners club discount available off these prices £38.10 SEAL, HOOD TO COWL TOP - 53383-14110 £59.17 MOULDING, WINDSHIELD, OUTSIDE RH - 75533-14190 (1) £66.17 MOULDING, BACK WINDOW, OUTSIDE RH - 75573-14210 (1) £11.96 62371A RETAINER, ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHER STRIP, REAR RH - 62371-14080 (1) £11.96 62372A RETAINER, ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHER STRIP, REAR LH - 62372-14080 (1) £125.11 75551 MOULDING, ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH, RH - 75551-14150 (1) £125.11 75552 MOULDING, ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH, LH - 75552-14150 (1) £115.79 75710 MOULDING ASSY, FRONT DOOR BELT, RH - 75710-14250 (1) £115.79 75720 MOULDING ASSY, FRONT DOOR BELT, LH - 75720-14250 (1) £72.85 62311B WEATHERSTRIP, FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM, RH - 62311-14070 £72.85 62312B WEATHERSTRIP, FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM, LH - 62312-1407 £115.10 62381B WEATHERSTRIP, ROOF SIDE RAIL, RH - 62381-14140 £115.10 62382B WEATHERSTRIP, ROOF SIDE RAIL, LH - 62382-14150
  2. Are you doing the paintwork yourself like mate? If not, would this not be taken care of by the bodyshop (removal and replacement of windows)?
  3. Not going to be able to make this again tonight lads - in-laws are still visiting and don't go until tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to the weekend
  4. Great Pics Mark - did Phil do them? Nice to see he avoided shots of the passenger side
  5. Personally, I'd just be flatting it all back with abrasives - so a range of papers starting with maybe 120 grit. Granted that might be the most time consuming but it also means you avoid damaging the plastic beneath with any stripping agents that might be used as an alternative.

    Rich's NA-T

Rich, Chris Wilson on here does uprated NA clutches that are possibly still suitable for NA-T - drop him an email. Details are here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?279341-Uprated-N-A-clutch-kits&highlight=Chris+Wilson+CLutch Or this this one popped up for sale recently along with the flywheel? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?292189-W58-Gearbox-Uprated-Clutch-amp-Flywheel&highlight=clutch
  7. looking great Marc! I reckon you should lay some matt lacquer down and leave the finish looking like the pic there
  8. What was your solution for filling the holes in the bay Jake, if you don't mind sharing?
  9. Sorry to hear that experience Hodge. Can only hope he isn't going to be one of the regulars as Gavin and Andrew in the parts dept. there have always been great - like you say, have always given discount. Did you get his name? They've always accommodated me even when I wasn't buying owt - just turning up with a list of parts numbers and wanting to know prices. They'd go through their system and write all the prices onto my printed list.
  10. Yeah but is that not just because you've got Titan windscreen wipers or something Hodge lol Keep the good work coming Marc - proper light at the end of the tunnel now!
  11. Yep - fingers crossed. I think we need to sort out a bit of a drive/meet sometime in the coming month. I'll get on it and check out a few routes, throw a few dates out there - will start a thread tomorrow or over the weekend.
  12. Excellent work! What did you use to do the first deep clean on them?
  13. Definitely wasn't 7 like. Mark, Jonny, Ross, Me, Pete and a new lad called Graham - although come to think of it I did see/hear Fosta tearing around at one point but never actually seen the car parked up anywhere or him to say 'hi' to... not sure where he went!

Welcome to the club! Are there many other Supras in Romania that you know of?
  15. If you need a hand with owt, just shout out - I'm sure there's a few of us would help to reassemble things.
  16. Good luck Marc - at least you'll have the weather on your side too mate, I'm sure it'll turn out cracking!
  17. On the Saturday afternoon mate - just needed the right tool to get some decent leverage on the tensioner arm. Jonny came to the rescue and it was back on in minutes
