Was very helpful sorting it all out and getting all the cover and protecting my NCB. Definitely glad I messaged them. Josh Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 I checked about for insurance and got some good quotes. I tried Sky and they were fantastic. I got a cheaper quote from Admiral, but they won't touch the mods and won't do agreed value. Thanks to Luke for calling me back today and going through the policy with me. Had some very cheap initial quotes this year but as soon as you declare the mods everything changes, despite being an old fart with 9 years ncd. I did get a fair bit knocked off the initial renewal that came through the post though just by telling them its now in a locked garage and reducing my annual mileage to a more reasonable figure. JK90 Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 I rang sky up through the week and explained i had a run around saxo i was wanting to insure then change cars when the supra came in the country and was ready for me, at first everything seemed alright, didnt really like the guys attitude on the phone but once we got to information on the supra he changed, once we got to the value part for the price i was paying and the value of it been a 97 reg. he said your paying that for a 97 reg car, i said yes, then i heard him mutter down the phone on the lines of "go and sort your head out" not really what i want to hear when im choosing you's to try and insure me and to be honest after the service and attitude i dont think i will even ring yous again.
