Jezz
Some of you know my other half was expecting our first baby in 3 weeks time. On thursday she was taken to hospital for monitoring due to high blood pressure. Then yesterday the doctors were worried about the size of the baby and she was kept in hospital overnight. So i get a call from a nurse on the ward this morning saying i needed to be there but she wouldnt say anything else so you can imagine how worried i was! Anyways the doctors had decided they needed to deliver by emergency ceasarian asap. By this point i'm a complete wreck. The outcome is the tinyest baby i've ever seen, born at 3.28 this afternoon. 3lbs 14ozs!!!! Other than her size, shes fine. Breathing ok, feeding ok. She will need to be in an incubator for a few days, and intensive monitoring. I still feel a bit worried, but i guess thats natural. So i'll introduce you all to teeny weeny sophie........
