Not a fan I am afraid, it just does not look exciting enough. I know you didn't want an outlandish colour but this would look beautiful in a red and black combo.

What about a deep blue colour?

I know dude but theres too many blinged up ferraris around london, deep blue was an option with cream leather but resell will be bad!

The correct answer would be:

"More than you can afford pal, Ferrari."

(quote from fast and the furious)

Joking aside, thats a lot of money!!

Are you still keeping the 458?

I know they are quite different but they look too similar. If I were you I would get something different, but I am not and this is a thread about the colour!

As I said looks great! :)

That's true, but over the years I am seeing less and less red Ferrari's - Loads of them lately seem to be either white, or in some sort of wrap!

I would have expected the resale on this colour to be less than the deep blue with clean, which I used to love on the F355's

lol nah 458 is going to make way for the 488, i looked at an aventador roadster this summer but the power delivery on the gear change was awful and it didnt seem as nimble as the 458, that said the build quality in the fez is tripe, i guess you cant win em all

far - that is one excellent looking motor !

Black and silver does look good and glad to see owners spec'ing their Ferraris in colours other than typical red.

Black alloys would give that car a mean slick look ;)

I was reading a post on a forum a while back regarding supercar owners spec'ing a car thinking about the re-sale value. I mean...WTF? That is like buying a car with the next owner's desires in mind rather than your own.

When it comes to supercars you definitely want the car to be "your's".

Thats exactly what I had in mind (Aventador)

I wish I had issues like this in life.

Me too. I wonder if I can make the bills every month! Maybe one day if my numbers come in!

Personally when it comes to the colour, the silver and black looks boring to me, a bit of a cop out for a supercar if I'm honest. However, it does look clean which I like, so I'm torn between what I like, and the supercar style.

If I was to own one, I'd go white with black roof without a second thought but I know thaat is a popular combo, but for good reason.

If I wanted something different I'd go gunmetal with a black roof so there is that slight contrast like Adams (Littlers) post.

At the end of the day a car like that should either be in your face or super clean. The silver/black combo just doesn't really do either, it sits firmly in the "being safe" zone for me.

End of the day it's your car. Spec it how you want it. If you can afford it (which obviously you can) why worry about resale? Someone else out there will buy it because they like the spec too, and would buy it over another colour.

This is one of the first ferraris ive seen which actually look really nice! The curves Remind me of the supra a bit, most cars do nowadays though to be honest. I always feel like the supra was the base jap car for sexy curves, everyone else are just sculpting around the original shape. So to be slightly different.... Rocket bunny and a two tone aluminium/gloss carbon fibre wrap? :p I think the grigio gunmetal colour looks awesome

If it was me I would go for red, but if that is not an option I'd for all black, and again if that is not an option and you want something more conservative a dark gunmetal and black would look great.

Buy a nice white F40 instead

If you have a spare 1 million kicking around I know where there is one forsale. Dream car.
