About time I added some updates :)

Still waiting for parts to arrive so thought I could do some other bits instead.

Decided to cover the interior panels in Alcantara where I can so made a start on the A pillar plastic trim.

Had to fibreglass and fill a small hole where I had a boost gauge fitted, but apart from that both are in really good condition and smooth.

Started off by gluing a piece cut roughly to size, waited for that to go off properly then the wife offered to finish them off by gluing and trimming all the edges down.

They have turned out fantastic considering that's the first time I've tried anything like this, sure the other parts will be harder though.

These bits all safely wrapped in bubble wrap and stored away until I need to refit them and refit the Jesus handle :D

Well that's the brake master cylinder finished! Probably spent at least a whole day polishing this using a combination of bench polisher and a dremel for the small impossible to reach areas.

Reservoir cleaned up well in the dishwasher :D

Some more parts arrived from Toyota, new rear upper and lower hatch rubbers and a new rear emblem to match the new front one.

It's taken me a few weeks but the braided brake hoses are now finished.

Took a bit of work to get the hose runs neat and which fittings to use, but once I got that sorted it was fairly straight forward.

-3 Stainless Steel braided hose and stainless steel fittings.

attachment.php?attachmentid=182047&stc=1&d=1394645542

Plated steel fittings to connect relocated ABS pump as its inside the car, they're a bit cheaper too. I am using bulkhead fittings as I didn't like the hoses passing through the large hole in the recess behind the rear seat.

The bulkhead fittings allow the hoses running above the rear subframe to be much neater.

The six short hoses for the ABS pump

Braided hose cut, nut installed and ready to flare the braiding for the brass olive.

All completed hoses ready for installation.

That looks like a headache mate

It was mate, I thought I had all the fittings then found another type would work better. Ended up ordering fittings twice but got there in the end.

Be careful with the alcantara.... If it's actualy alcantara £75 per meter then your fine.... If it's the cheep rep stuff it will go a muddy green colour in the sun! It's something I've tested and luckily I didn't do my whole interiour!

Thanks for the info

Very nice mate, I've used the exact same fittings on mine from summit racing, not cheap!!

What method did you use to cut the braided hose?

Not at all, spent a fortune on this so far. I used a thin cutting disc on my bench grinder after wrapping it in tape. I actually found it easier to first cut the hose a little longer with pliers, remove some of the pvc coating, put on the nut then wrap the braid at the cut with tape to cut off about 10mm that was crushed by the pliers.

Nice parts mate ;)

Thank you, hopefully these installed over the weekend and get the rear subframe back on.

It's been a very productive weekend so far!

Got all the braided brake hoses installed along with the relocated ABS pump. The bulkhead fittings to the ABS pump have made a huge difference tidying up the hoses above the rear subframe and keeps them out of the way. Originally the hoses were passing through the large hole but looked untidy as there was no real way to keep them separated. The rear subframe and diff is back on and torqued. Parking brake cables reconnected, the old J-spec calipers and discs are on so I can pump up the brake system and check the hoses and connections on the car.

Hopefully wont be too much of a pita to bleed the system. What brake fluid would you recommend?

Finished off the washer bottle relocation. Loom has been extended to the boot and I managed to squeeze an MR 2 bottle underneath the car in the space above the rear exhaust heat shield. Still using my original supra twin outlet pump as I still have a rear washer. Filler neck fits flush under the carpet inside the polystyrene mouldings. Rear exhaust heat shield bolts back up nicely, now I just need to make a cover for behind rear wheel to stop any crap going over the bottle.
