Had my previous car in JTuner in 2005 took about 4 hours, really enjoyed it, we moved to different locations including China Town (Manc) and some moving shots, so was pretty involved, no time to really sit around. Cleaned it the two days prior absolutely everything was cleaned, then again the morning of the shoot before they arrived. Get up early as it might have condensation on over the car (depends if you have a garage). They came to Manchester so didn't have to travel far so car didn't get filthy. Definitely take some detailer, few clothes etc.., one possibly damp just in case a bird decides to leave its arse all over your bonnet. Think I also took a cloth to dry it off in case of rain, and bit of metal polish to repolish up pipes & exhaust just incase you where having to drive in the the rain. Enjoy it pal !! Rob_Mitchell Posted July 22, 2012 Author Share Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) An eventful day today... woke up early to meet Steve Hall the photographer and we searched around chatham, rochester and strood for a nice location! with not much luck i decided to turn down a derilict ally........... bang crash wollop!! my exhaust hit the smallest of bumps and ripped the vband clamp straight off! causing the exhaust to fall off!! So with now no exhaust we had no choice to shoot the car in this location and we big time hit a gold mine as the shoot worked brilliantly and im very much looking forward to the 7 page front cover feature and centre fold poster... going to sort the exhaust out tomorrow at work. sounds mega with no exhaust but i did only nurse it back to my garage. Apart from that i had a very good day! its very long winded process and im shattered but overal i enjoyed the expirience. The shoot took roughly 6 hours. Yeah i know he had a shot of your car on his site! we got talking about you today and about the shoot he done on yours.
