I don't think the car is chavvy - but you'll see that the cheaper/earlier ones attract buyers who are chavs, then the car heads down the chav route (eyelids!!!). Some of that comes to the fore on here with new members and their txtspk/lack of punctuaton/attitude.

Quoted for the truth.

Anything can be chavvy - exhibit A: http://overdrivetv.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/ireland_5.jpg

I think a lot of people who don't know what a supra is will probably just see it as another car with a body kit and pile it in the corsa lot. People who realise it's a high performance car should know better than to call it chavvy.

The first thing my girlfriend said when I turned up with my new lip spoiler recently, was "at least it doesn't look chavvy anymore" !

Unfortunately, the Supra's stock spoiler was one of the original 'whale tails' or BGW on a production car, so everything else has developed around it, and now anything with a large spoiler is automatically deemed as 'chav', which is a shame.

Now I have changed the spoiler, most people really have no idea what it is, and think it's brand new! :)

I don't mind the spoiler that was on there from stock and think there are much more chavy versions like the failside and the cosworth style ones are what springs to mind, IMO it looks weird at the back end if there is no spoiler due to the shape of the car.

I agree the only supra I've seen that can pull of a ridox trunk spoiler is Marc's supra.

A friend of mine refered to my Supra as a 'penis extention'. I was kind of offended becasue, as I knew she was just joking, and it wasn't that at all, I wasn't using it to make up for anything, I just loved the car and wanted one, simple as! I then took this opportunity to remind her that I didn't need any kind of genital enlargement, to which she had to agree :D

I brought my car purely because I have a vagina.
