Well today was a fail, Tried test fitting the trd, it fouls on my boot lip on one side, guess when we bonded it on we were slightly out, my only option is to drill out the oem hole a couple of mm or scrap the idea and sell it on.

So to make up for it i gave it a good clean and took it for a spin.

All done in seperated bits, really gutted, the amount of work to get theis spoiler back into shape was unreal should have just bought a new one. Oh well got a decision to make now.

All that aside I'm still not sure i prefer it or not.

I prefer the trd tbh mate but thats maybe because mine is the same lower ridox and trd combo, if you can make it fit by stretching the holes in the bootlid i think its worth it, if not then im sure you will get a good price for it

Bummer Jake. Sorry to hear that mate. I'm also not sure on the TRD, tbh. I thought the back of your car was spot on as it was.

Thanks for the kind words, it is a pain, I may try have a play and see if I can get it to fit then I can chop and change as I wish.

Thanks, yeah I do like it as it fairly angular so plays of the diffuser, but equally I like the oem to complement the curve of the archs. May sell it not sure yet.

TRD ftw

Your a fan then :)

I have three options when it comes to the wing.

1. Move the fixings on the up right to get it to fit.

2. Remove the lip, then re spray the boot and then re fit the lip and trd

3. Drill the wholes out to fit.

Or could just scrap the idea entirely and keep the stock, really not sure.

Just ordered some Candy Red paint for some changes under the bonnet.

Started stripping down an OEM P/S pulley today that is all ready now, got two more pulleys to do.

Also half way through stripping down the Y-pipe and throttle body. Decided to sand it smooth to remove the texture it comes with as standard, and i am going to try removing the casting marks too. Oh and have a new set of cam covers on the way these are going to be stripped down and either polished to a higher finish than my current ones or going to paint 199.

Been stripping down the pulleys, half way there, washing them yesterday may have been a bad decision as they have gone a bit brown lol.

Also an update on the y-pipe. The texture is going, and some of the casting marks removed, my hand have decided enough is enough for one night. lol
