ok but now im starting the next few bits sooo....

First i had 2x new rear brake disks as they where needed.

and yesterday I started getting back up to scratch.

Gave it a major clean, and fitted my igniter cover that i made ages ago!

You may also notice the dragonball stickers have now gone as i lost one the other day

Then snapped away with the camera :)

Best update this, Supra really has taken a back seat recently with me trying to sort out another car so the supra can be stripped back down for some serious work under the bonnet.

However for now i have re fitted the diffuser and have got my bungs back painted in 199 ready for removing the rear spoiler.

Right having major problems as both my laptop and my camera have packed up so phot updates are going to be a bit of a pita now :/

But the car is coming along well, the whole left side is striped and cleaned ready for hole covering and paint, i have also cleaned up lots of parts again, all 3 stage polished. The cam covers i have also satrted cutting back the fronts of both sides are looking like chrome again however the back is yet to be done. Will get some pictures as soon as i can.

Ok here is some pictures of how it stands now. as you can see i have been busy cleaning some parts and have now got one side all painted :)

Also my solution for a cheap easy way of filling the holes in the bay seems to work nicely.

What was your solution for filling the holes in the bay Jake, if you don't mind sharing?

Thanks for the kind words guys

Looking good mate, will look 1000x better still once you get the viscous fan painted ;)

On the list ;) going black I think, but first going to give it a good clean to see how it looks.

Looking loads better. How easy was it to paint? Is it just a case of making sure it its all masked up? As this is something I need to do but bin putting it off as it looks a pita to do.

Yeah its a pits just tale the time mack up and remove as much as possible.

Got some texture engine bay sticky stuf and cut some small disks, simply plastic prime and paint.

Looks great! Much cleaner!

Is the paint aerosol!? Looks quite metallic.

Yeah it is aerosol, but I had a 199 made up by my dads garage. So its good quality, obviously not as good a finish as it would be out a gun but still an improvement.

Looks much better

I'm thinking I should paint my engine bay the same colour now lol

Go for it :)

Just read through this from the start, I'm in the same boat ATM.. Can only really afford a NA and a bit of a perfectionist so could be interesting!!! My plan is to buy a TT6 in the future and swap parts across then sell the NA...maybe you could do this with some of your bay bling etc :)?

Good read though nice work !!!!
