Something different...

4 wheel drive *could* be possible with some work I would have thought.

2JZ-GTE's have been dropped into 4x4's, Landcruisers and the like though I'm not sure if they retained 4WD or not. It's always made me wonder if you could manage to fit a drivetrain into a Supra.

Anything is possible if you can drop enough cash on it I suppose.

we once converted a mk5 rs2000 to 4x4 by welding the siera cosworth floor pan in.Anything is possible but you have to have the skills to do it yourself or an unlimited supply of cash.

4wd is something I'd be interested in if possible, the supra is an awesome car, with 4wd it would have very little traction issues.anyone know what gearbox you could use?

"This is as complete as they come and retailed for close to £250,000 in its time!"

Think the winning bidder got a bargain then at £3,500.

To the OP, something different for the sake of being different or for a certain goal?

Run your single turbo on LPG? Or even better Bio Fuel.

Lexus 300 I think, was available as a 4x4 by special order in Japan

Maybe those parts could be persuaded to fit under a Supra?

Toyota Aristo 4.0 Zi-Four, They are a rare beasty on these shores, but the odd one pops up and and goes through the auctions from time to time.

In 1992, a third model, the V8-powered 4.0 Zi-Four (codename UZS143), joined the Aristo lineup. This model came with standard four-wheel drive and a 250 hp (186 kW) 1UZ-FE engine. This V8 had also been used in the first generation Lexus LS and the Toyota Crown Majesta.

To be different and stand out from the rest.something signature on the car that hasn't been done before,it's quite difficult because most things I can think of have been done or are being done.

The diesel idea keeps popping up,I wouldn't do that with this project however I have a spare shell I could use...
