What wastegates are they?

Something I've been trying to find out myself. Maybe I'll pop a post up.

Edit: If it is a modified "Isamu" kit from Greddy then they might be an older version of the Apexi Racing wastegate but I'm fairly sure they have the brand stamped on them too.

Also, from looking at the pics i assume that would match straight up to a catback system...ie midpipe also removed.

I think so, that seems to be the way things have been designed anyway :)

What sort of mileage does the kit have on it ?

And i know this is probably a no cluer but what sort of spool time would we be talking about? ie laggy T78 or T67 relative?

No idea on either to be honest, the kit doesn't look like it's had a huge amount of use and there is no play on the turbos. Spool should be acceptable compared with some of the other twins kits, these particular turbos have a reputation for being quite responsive compared to similar sized alternatives but with 2 of them at work on a 3.0L it's hard to say.

Maybe I should just keep it and find out next year or whenever I can release the funds to do it all justice...

Is this the kit from the drag car Paul Evans imported? I have some pics somehere of the car and kit from a write up in a Japanese mag.

That's the one, the silver car. I have a pic of the front end, bonnet closed, and one of the fuel system in the boot but any other stuff would be really nice to have for my own reference even if it doesn't sell :)

Paul sent me a PM earlier with some more info - it's the kit from the old Zenitani demo car - they are know for their Skyline work but obviously had a bit of a dabble on the Supra with some pleasing results :)

HyperRev vol. 70, Supra 3 shows the car and some engine pics on page 50, I don't have a scanner at present but I've tried to take some pics to show how the turbos sit. Some trick pipework may be needed to feed that rear turbo (can you see me trying to put people off here?).

The HyperRev spec page says they are IHI RX-7 TCW15 P16 turbos but the text says "RH-6" which ties in with the RHX6 stamped on the ID plate so some ambiguity there still.

So onto the fun bit.... 900ps @ 7000rpm @ 2.3kg/cm with an F-Con and lots of Japanese writing:

If anyone can read these I'd be interested to know what they say :)

And the car in question...

I think I'm going to need a bigger boat.
