I don't suppose anyone is bringing disposable BBQs for the show itself are they? We could grab some meat and have a midday barbecue :D.

 

We'll be bringing one. Got me cleaning kit too!

Got my tickets today! YAY!!!

 

Says on there no movement of cars on show day, only to and from track. Does that mean we have to stay till 6pm?

Apparently, yes. I did say, back in post #1 :p

 

Please note:

  • No refunds can given once I've paid for the tickets
  • All vehicles must be road legal
  • Additional non-booked passengers can pay admission upon arrival
  • Each car will be allocated a minimum of 3m x 4m
  • Cars on the club stand need to arrive between 6:30am and 9am, and can leave after 6pm; no vehicle movement is permitted before this time except for public track time purposes.

 

Just kick back, relax, chit chat and wait till 6pm. :)

I'm all polished up, just trying to work out how to fit the gazebo in the car :D. I think I'll have to remove the passenger seat, not done that before..

 

 

Glad Im not the only one with lack of room, I will be squeezing 2 teenage lads in the back and one is over 6ft:blink:.....Gonna be a squeeze lucky i have short legs:):):)

Really enjoyed the day, thanks to Steve for sorting the tickets/stand & everyone else for showing up :D. Drifting was excellent, didn't stick around for the end of the Time Attack - couldn't stand sitting on concrete any longer!

 

I hope some decent pics were taken as I didn't get any at all..

Yes, big thanks to Steve for organising and good to meet all. :)

 

Time attack was the highlight for me, some seriously tuned cars there.

 

Steve L and Ben did us proud from the Whifbitz crew :cool:

 

I managed a few laps, but i found the track a bit greasy ?

Home, kackered after the camping AND early start (I'm sure one was supposed to cancel out the other!?) had a great time all the same, as I hope did everyone? :) We nearly stayed till the very end, I think only 2 Supes were left when we bailed out about 10 mins from the end of the final bit of track action.

 

Great to meet everyone/see you again - special thanks to Steve L for putting up with my questioning! lol. I was just chuffed to See Supras out on track (including Ash!), well done to everyone involved. :) Special thanks to Linda for sorting the convoy, too! :thumbs:

 

A fantastic turnout all things considered! Lots of admiring glances came our stand's way. Let's make next year even bigger!

 

Now - bed! :D
