    Exporting my supra

Cheers Matt I just rang DVLA and the pre recorded message says what you said. You both sign & date section 8 and the new keeper fills out section 6 and you give the whole VC5 to the buyer. You write to DVLA Swansea giving the details of you and the car and when it was sold to the overseas buyer. Why can't they just have a section in the VC5 for this
  3. Could do with some advice please guys. Has anyone sold their car to an overseas buyer and if you have which part of the VC5 did you use. My situation is a little confused as the car is being exported but not personally by me and its being bought by a French importer on behalf of his client. I think i might be giving Jurgen a call if no one can help
  4. Flux were crap for me and way more than i pay now, if your over 25 try LWIB
  5. Their good for some and not so good for others. It would be good to see some more details from the OP to see just how great his insurance is Car insured, postcode, age, points, ncd, etc etc as its meaningless without
  6. I still have the brand new PCV i offered you last week ?

    End of an era

Cheers mate that's nice of you to say that and glad others liked it as well as me. One thing i wish i'd done is to have taken it across Europe and got down a few of the mountain pass's, oh well

    End of an era

Cheers mate, as the day gets nearer its becoming more real that it'll soon be gone. Surprised how many enquiries i got on P/H but nearly all from Europe, just had a guy from Rome email me.

    End of an era

The cars just been valeted and i've gone round all the fluid levels, tyre pressures and checked all the lights, swtches etc are are working. In twelve years i've never had to replace a bulb on it but tonight it blew a main beam bulb !!! Took it out for its last run today and made sure the second turbo was coming online when it should Spoke to the buyer and its looking like he could be over on Thursday or Friday this week.
  10. They have the same wet grip rating as the Falken 453, Conti sport 3's, Hankooks, Dunlop sportmax. Pirelli P zero's Better wet grip than Vredestein Sessanta Only bettered by Yokohama Advan AD08 and G/Y F1 asymmetrics in stock rear size
  11. What don't you like about the Avons ? i have recently put a pair on the front of my car and i'm pretty happy with them
  12. What do you have on the front and are you happy with them ? if you are i'd put the same on the rear.

    Hi

Hi Steve, I see you beat me too it with my suggestion to join the club
  16. I used a space heater on my car as i had a clear stone chip protection wrap on the front end and that worked a treat. Or if you can get access to one a heated spray booth would definitely help warm the panels and the wrap then go round with a heat gun

  18. How many miles has the engine done ? Going by some of the replies i'm guessing way over 150k
  19. I'd start by asking the seller a few questions and see what response you get.
  20. If thats the case i dont get why this hasn't been snapped up
  21. Aren't N American cars also silly money compared to here
  22. Dnk

    Hey

There's a UK spec TT in the classifieds on here that you could probably insure for under £1k
  23. Dnk

    Hey

    to the highlighted comment
  24. If its been looked after then 150k isn't so bad and if its way cheaper than other LHD's then theres plenty of money left to rebuild turbos engine etc My cars done 136k miles +and the motors sweet and so are the turbo's
