  1. Not keen on the styling at all, but beautifully modified engine, mate, and thats the most important bit! Andy
  2. Hi, Oilman, I cant put a picture of my car up, as it isn't finished yet! But it will be by mid March. i appreciate you may be a tad concerned showing off a car you haven't seen, as it is representing your name and club, but I do know what Im doing and wont let the club down. To give you an idea, here is a couple of pictures of my car I built for last year's show season.... The Supra Im building is getting a customised Bomex front bumper, Bomex sideskirts, Do Luck rear spats, smoothed bodywork (deletion of door handles, rear wiper, aerial etc), 19" alloys, custom paint, full custom stereo and a modifed engine and interior, so it should look even better than the Rex! Hope you will still consider me. Andy
  3. Is this def only UK cars? Andy
  4. They look happy..... especially the one on the right?!........ Andy
  5. Mine will be finished (cosmetically) by end of April, so will be availble. Obviously dont have pics yet, but it will be a stunner! Andy
  6. To clarify, i can use this to go BPU to stop my turbos spiking? If so, then yes please, Richie! may I take first dibs of you, mate? Is it hard to install? Regards Andy
  7. Hi, mate, Ive replied to your PM. We only decided we wanted to sell it on Sunday night, so haven't had any offers yet. It's a 1242cc. Runs extremely well, very economical, very cheap to run! We are quite keen to get rid of it now, as Claire has seen a car she wants. I think the minimum we would take would be around the £1700 mark now. Otherwise we will have to part ex it, which Id really rather not. Andy
  8. Hi Peter, The mileage is 70,000. Andy
  9. Dont be put off, mate! We had to travel to Edinburgh to buy this bloody car! lol Andy
  10. Replied! Let me know if it's any use to you, Paul? Regards Andy
  11. The car is a March 2000 V Reg Punto, 3 door, black. MOT runs out at the end of the month, so the car will have 12 months by the time a prospective buyer buys it. Taxed til either June or July. Reliable, used as a daily runner by me and my girlfriend. Battery was on it's way out in November, so I replaced that with a new jobbie, apart from that, it's never given us any problems at all. Please see attached couple of pics to give you an idea of the car. We are looking for around £1800 for her. Any questions, please ask! Andy
  12. Thanks a lot, all. Hmm, well it will stay white for a little while!..... As for fixing the skirts, they are just screwed on at the moment. I will Sikaflex them on eventually, but I was just desperate to get them on and show them off! Sad, eh?? Waiting for the rest of the kit before I start to bond them on properly. Andy
  13. Hi Paul, Are you still interested in a runaround? My girlfriend has decided to sell her 2000 Fiat Punto. its a real nice little car. Black, power steering, 70k miles, 1.2l, perfect for new drivers. Can send some pics if you are interested? Regards Andy
  14. As above..... literally, just the airbox, so just a case of removing an induction kit and putting this on. Would require an air filter and the ducting if your car does not already have them. PM with any offers, please. Andy
  15. Come off my car when Ive added sideskirts. May be of some use to someone who is going back to the stealthy look or perhaps a dealer who has bought a car with damaged skirts and wants to get rid of them and smarten a car up? They are in white. good condition. Unfortunately, the underside screws/bolts were welded on with dirt, so each side is missing one fastener. This isn't the end of the worl. the others would hold it on, or failing that, a strategic self tapper would do the job, Im sure. Only after a tenner or so. Andy
  16. Well, it should all be finished (in it's white stage) by the first week or two in February. The full colour change and new wheels (so if anyone fancies my 18"s, let me know!) will probably be by the end of March so she's all nice and fresh for show season. And yes, she will be super smoove! So, the spoiler, door handles, rear wiper, petrol filler cap and electric aerial will all be handed their eviction notice very soon! Andy
  17. Hey Tom, Thanks a lot, mate! Im picking up a Bomex front end from Paul (Miami GT) this week. Before it even goes near the car though, its going to get my fibreglass treatment for a few alterations! Got all my little plans already laid out (sad, eh??). Really excited about it all coming together now. For information, I have got a set of Do Luck rear spats in the post too. Should all compliment each other nicely I think. Andy
  18. What colour is the car, mate? Black? Andy
  19. Yes, mate! Done it on Saturday. Both of them took me all of, umm, one hour! If you need any help, Im happy to give you a hand. Just let me know, mate. Andy
  20. D'oh. Im sorry to hear that, mate. If you want to come round mine one weekend, Id be happy to have a go for you? Your not a million miles away, so if it didn't work out, it would only cost you £30 or so in petrol there and back. Andy
  21. Flea Bay, mate........ £80! And they are genuine ones! The fella has just bought a flat and had sold his car, was just getting rid of the last few bits and pieces he had, offered him a cheeky-ass reply and got lucky! Were quite a good fit for Bomex, I haven't been too impressed with their fitting in the past with other cars. not sure why you would have had any major problems? I did have to take the standard black trim off first that runs along the bottom of the car, but thats common sense. Did the fella who tried yours do that? Andy
  22. Had EVERY intention of waiting til I had accumulated all the bits of my bodykit before I fitted them, but temptation got the better of me! The car is going to be resprayed (in a colour that is still top secret! and by that, I dont mean gold ), so I bought a couple of cans from Halfrauds so at least my car isnt multicoloured, painted my new Bomex skirts and put them on! Really happy with them. Not as low as I had hoped for, but that will change when the car gets dropped a little, Im sure! Just waiting for the spats to turn up now, and need to go collect the front bumper from Paul, then I can start think about prepping the car properly to paint her up! Will keep you updated with pics when I can. Andy
  23. As the title suggests!... After a Fast and the Furious Bomex style front bumper. Doesn't have to be immaculate. Cash waiting! Any traders got one taking up space that they would like to let go for a lighter price or anyone else have one sitting in the garage collecting dust?? Andy
  24. Thanks, Pete. not sure what I was doing wrong??? Will this fit a standard bumper with spats, does anyone know? Andy
  25. Do you know where I can find a picture of one of these fitted, Paul? Ive had a quick google and yahoo search with no avail. Andy
