  1. Dont bother. It looks awful in my opinion. The Fortune o3 kit is a nice piece of work, but I have to say Im not impressed by the quality of the installation. The join lines are way out, the wheels are too small for such a mad kit, the interior is boring, I could go on (but I better not in case its a member's on here!)..... Im afraid the car screams 'look at me, I bought an expensive bodykit but had to scrimp on all the other details cas I ran out of money'. If your going to do a full blown project like that, you have to take EVERYTHING in to account. Worst cover car for a long time. Andy
  2. Ive found one for £550 on another website! its a fella in the UK with free delivery too! Sorry, Nic! Andy
  3. What colour is it? Blue or grey? I quite like it. Nice to see something different if anything else! Andy
  4. What sort of money am I looking at for dampers, Nic? Andy
  5. I want to improve my car's handling. BUT (and theres always one of those, isnt there??) Im on a tight budget! hey, its nearly Christmas, what can I say?? If I found a set of lowering springs (Tein perhaps?), would I notice any handling improvements? I dont expect a miracle, but the fact that the car is lower to the tarmac has gotta count for something? Right? Please advise if you have put lowering springs on your car. Thanks all! Andy
  6. Hmm. Im sure I remember reading £675 a little while ago for this! I would absolutely love to have it. Ive just sold my head unit for £200, just need to try to stump up the difference! Andy
  7. Thats not reduced? It already was £675, you cheeky so and so! Will this work with UK FM radio stations? Andy
  8. Will this fit any turbo'd model? I have a '93 TT Auto. Does it come with any fitting kit? Andy
  9. Hmm, not sure? Might have! Will have a look later tonight or tomorrow. have to take the boy to see Harry Pothead later (lets be honest, flying on broomsticks, dragons chasing you? Sounds drug influenced to me), so will try to remember after that! Andy
  10. Yes you can. I did this with my carbon bonnet on my Rex. Just do it at a very very slow drill speed, and ensure you put masking tape onto the bonnet before you go drilling. Exactly like when you drill a hole in a number plate. If you need further advice, feel free to PM me. Andy
  11. lol, damn, I havent got a picture of mine from that angle. Will have to clean the car again now to get a similar piccy! Andy
  12. I DIDN'T COPY! A MERE COINCIDENCE! Its your fault for having a car that looks too much like mine anyway. Andy
  13. Okay, well if you could be PM me a picture when you get one, or post one on here, I would still be interested. Regards Andy
  14. Hello all, Wondered if anyone could offer any advice?......... My rubbish speedo only informs me of what Im doing up to 110mph. The car is delimited, and also reads in MPH on the milometer. I want a nice set of white dials, so need the car to read up to 180mph. Who is best to do this? i have fitted a chip before, but if anyone knows someone reasonable in Surrey, I fear laziness may get the better of me! Andy
  15. Are these just the spats or the do-luck diffuser as well that goes between the two? Im definitely interested. Would you be kind enough to offer me first refusal? Andy
  16. Nice! If it looks half that good in the flesh, mate, you will have a stunning car. Andy
  17. PM'd, dude! TerribleTurner, thanks, mate! Glad y'all like it! After Christmas, when I have some money (!), you will be seeing more regular postings from me detailing the development of my car. I have a lot planned for her, budget allowing!!!.... Really want to make her better than my RX7 that I modified last year. The Supe is going to be much more of a subtle car than the Rex was though. Andy
  18. Thats what I thought? I had to look twice! Andy
  19. Cheers, mate. Yeah, my area is far from perfect. In fact, I hate it, but I feel safe enough with it. The car has a decent alarm, and its a lot of work to get in for the sake of a poxy screen. Still, touchwood, and all that. Andy P.S How similar are our avatars???
  20. Cheers, all. Yep, the JVC EXAD is only one DIN, although it is SLIGHTLY larger than a standard DIN in terms of height, so the pocket has to be slightly modified to get both to fit. AND it cant use the standard DIN fastener, as it has to protrude from the dash, so that had to be overcome as well with a little jigsaw handywork! Security wise..... its self releasing, so can remove the screen should I wish if its parked up in a dodgy area (ha ha, that sounds rich coming from someone that lives in Croydon, doesnt it???) Main passengers are girlfriend, and girlfriend's 7 year old. They both need silencing from time to time. Although Ive found my right foot also quite effective in throwing their head back into the headrest for comical value when they are talking too much! Andy
