  1. I took the top glovebox off the car a couple of weeks ago and made a fibreglass box section then skimmed over it with a bit of filler for my new 5.8" Directed Audio screen that is hooked up to my JVC DVD Player. Got it back all fully trimmed today, so threw (well, installed) it straight in to provide my passengers with a bit of entertainment. How generous is that??? Hope you like it! Andy
  2. Only in left hand drive, I believe. Unless someone has converted an auto to a manual. Andy
  3. I wouldnt mind seeing a picture of these. The link doesnt work now though... Any others? Andy
  4. Will this fit a TT Auto? What will it do? Andy
  5. Sounds interesting. Anyone have a car in Surrey that has had this done and would be willing to take me for a spin for the return favour of a pint of your preference??? Andy
  6. How much do you charge for that process, matey? Andy
  7. Hi there, Was looking for around the £50 mark, but id take the first sensible offer! Andy
  8. Wow! Awesome job there, matey! It looks like a very professional installation. Gorgeous looking Supe as well. Not normally a fan os silver cars, but that one looks like an absolute beaute! Thanks for taking the time to post up a pic. A picture tells a thousand words and all that!.... Makes things much clearer. I will have a go when I can afford a nice filter! Oh, and have decided on one of course! Andy
  9. Have you got a picture of your heat shield installation? When I have some money, Id like to buy an Apexi air filter for my TT and make one too. I do love the sound of a decent induction kit, I do! Andy
  10. Okay, thats very useful, thanks, Blitzy-Boy! There is a garage in Kingston I used to use for some work who do lots of Jap Import work. Im sure thats something they could do? Do you know of any other companies that you would recommend? Andy
  11. Morning, This little combo was in my Supra when I bought it. Its is full working order, but I already had a stereo to put in before I bought my car! Its certainly not the newest unit on the market, but it's a good performer, and quite unusual nowadays to be able to play tapes and CDs up front. Not asking much for them, make me an offer if your interested. Regards Andy
  12. Hello! My speedo reads up to 110 mph, and the car has been delimited. I want to change the dials to something a bit more gucci, but think the 180mph dials look much more appropriate for a 160mph+ car! Is it just a case of hooking up a chip onto the back of the speedo? I did this with my RX7 and it was very simple, but that read KPH and was limited when I bought the car. Seeing as this is already half converted, i wasnt sure if there was anything more to it? Any advice gratefully received! Andy
  13. As above!........ I think the Supe looks awesome without the spoiler, but I dont want to suffer any handling/downforce loss. Would I incur any problems if I removed the standard spoiler and flushed it over? TIA Andy
  14. Hello! The top glovebox holds the cover on with a fairly meaty hinge. Any ideas how to remove this hinge should one want to??? Ive taken off the air vents each side of it for clues, but dont really want to strip the rest of the dashboard unless I have to. Any advice? Im sure some of you must have had this out at some stage! Andy
  15. lol, was good to meet you too, mate. Can see the resemblence car-wise by looking at your avatar! I would have been worried, too! Andy
  16. lol, hi, Ben! Was nice to (briefly) meet a couple of members. Sorry I was in a bit of a hurry and you caught me a bit flustered, I would have liked to show you round the car. Hope to meet you again soon at a show/meet soon! My friend was a bit concerned with 'the club' too! He thought we were going to do some secret Monty-Python-styled handshake! Andy
  17. Hmm, they look 'salvageable'. What would you like for them, mate? Andy
  18. What sort of condition is the rock-beaten side? I may still be interested? Could you send me any pictures? Regards Andy
  19. Hi Daston, If you feel you may remove the sideskirts, screw them on in the arches and wherever else you can. If you are happy that they are staying on the car, I would bond the sideskirts on for a secure fit with a silicon adhesive and screw the sideskirts in the arches as well if you feel it is needed. You may need to use masking tape to hold the skirt in place whilst everything id drying. Once everything has set, I would jack up the car, tape up between the sideskirts and the body (so you are creating a tunnel effectively of sideskirt and tape) then inject it with expanding foam. this will bond it securely and reach in all the places that a thin layer of silicon wouldnt. Leave for at least 24 hours to cure before driving. Bear in mind, if you do this, you would struggle to get the sideskirts off. Hope this helps. Andy
  20. Hi Lazarus, yep, you certainly will! When are the Fairmile meets? It's a Tuesday isnt it? First one maybe? Andy
  21. Cheers, all! Yep, the ReX got sold some time ago now. Took an Elise as a part ex on it, with the intention of that being easier to sell a couple of months down the line than a modded RX.... which it was, hence me now being in Supra ownership! As for the fish.... dont know! It will come off at the weekend though with the obligatory 'new car T Cut and polish'! Andy
  22. Cheers, Gaz! Yep, know the feeling. This is the first car I have bought in a long long time that feels so 'right'. ive got not one regret with this car. Its my absolute pride and joy now. Andy
  23. Oh yeah, hello, mate, I remember that black Supe! How ya doing? Hmm, more power, Im sure, will be craved soon, but blimey, they are quick cars! Im suprised there arent more of them in hedges than on the roads! EVEN at 90, you can accelerate and when the second turbo kicks, the back end still shuffles like a madman trying to escape from his straight jacket! Andy
  24. Thanks, Bobbeh! Im over the moon with it! Yep, eventually she will be a show-goer. Will aim to make it for the end of next year's shows, but I really want to just enjoy the car for what it is for now, then start evolving it when I have some more money and time! I just cant get over how quick these cars are??? They scare the shi*e out of me! Andy
