  1. has it been decatted & got an FCD? MattH had similar issues with his a while back & it turned out to just be the FCD wasn't turned up enough, i.e. the boost cut was kicking in & out. felt just like a misfire when driving since it kept coming on & off
  2. they're about £12 from Toyota for the stock item
  3. be rude not to when we live there
  4. i'm out sorry chaps - i don't really fancy bringing it with a ding'd bumper & it is due a service too before i start thrashing it around for the day hope it's a good one & the weather is bone dry for you all take care up that Hartside too what a drive but don't lose it!
  5. i've got to ring the bodyshop on mon/tues (depending whether he's open on bank hol) to see if he can fit me in - if it ends up in there over the weekend them i'm out
  6. sorry didn't make it last night peoples. last week the valeter at work drive my car into the kerb as he was parking it up to clean it so i didn't fancy turning up with a cracked front bumper plus it was first day back in work after a week off & i had quite a bit to catch up on so didn't leave there till 7ish doesn't sound like i would have got in anyway turning up late but i think Mascrat has gone downhill the past 6 months really with lots of scrotes turning up in nothing like Jap cars & looking dodgy round the cars! bring on the new meet!
  7. managed 407bhp so i was pleased 340something at the wheels? unfortunately, i forgot the printout for the rwhp figure but i've got the other one also showing nice healthy AFRs too
  8. i'm going prob get there for about 10am unless Andy gets in touch saying i need to be there any earlier Mike, you've got my no if you do end up coming, Rob/Ste, i'll PM you mine again, just in case you've not got it anymore
  9. under the seat might be ok but they were checking people's boots last time i went! not sure what time i'm going to be arriving yet, depends on laziness & whether we need to be there by a certain to be able to do Andy's rolling road runs
  10. speak to the club insurer Adam, called Sky Insurance i've been with them for the last couple of years & their quotes have been as good as the lowest around but also include guaranteed value (if you want it) and they're quite friendly with modifications too, should you go that route (which you will )
  11. so do we have a place to park too and what's the best way to get tickets at this point?
  12. nice one Rob, if we can get a few of us going then it would be all the more worth while not that you're not good enough on your own or anything don't forget my eggbox 360 steering wheel too
  13. cheers Martin i'm still a maybe but definitely want to come since i missed JAE
  14. ah, this post is what i read http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1518033&postcount=3 the RSVP bit made me think of a wedding invite i forgot to reply to last month no way of making it on Sunday then?
  15. from what i understand he's offering it 'As a FREEBIE to any Supra owner attending' it's 3 runs that he's offering each person did i read you're stuck at a wedding on Sunday?
  16. i remember that!! it span for ages!! just need to check some plans & i'm hopefully coming
  17. after missing out on JAE i'm very tempted to go to TOTB this Sunday anyone up for it? Andy Hannah is offering free dyno runs to anyone from the club which is bloody generous too! Just need to confirm i'm not needed in work & that the boss (wife) doesn't mind
  18. the font doesn't help i bet mate the rule for imports is for where it is unsuitable to fit a number plate on the front somewhere, but you have put yours on the number plate holder!
  19. if it's the same as how the Blitz one connects up, the harness will connect just under the steering column in the loom, dead easy there will probably be a hand brake connection & power/ground too obviously that you'll need to splice from somewhere, but the handbrake connection is usually optional too
  20. wez_p

    tt on hold

    congrats matey
  21. have you got any cats fitted? is there a restrictor ring in your exhaust? is yours a j-spec or UK? without any cats & no restrictor ring you will be possibly boosting to a higher level & the boost controller cannot bring this down - it can only raise boost from what i believe is the wastegate controlling it. is it the same if the boost controller is switched off? this would be likely to highlight whether it's happening regardless of the boost controller
