It doesn't look too bad tbh The chassis looks straight on the last pic, although I am twisting my neck to see it. As already said it's mainly a bolt on repair. So if I were you I'd re-assemble it myself and just pay for the paint job to be done. PM Jezzybabes too, he works for Quality Salvage Direct in Northants where they only break sports cars. He had a couple Sup's in last time I were there, one with a front panel too. Also keep checking classifieds on this site, you're bound to drop on parts in there. Good luck mate!

Just wondering if you can use your standard back box with CW decat pipes? I can afford everything else to go BPU at the moment but not the exhaust. Just wondered if it were possible and would you get the same kind of boost levels?

I usually pick my nose! As for the auto thing, don't worry. Like the majority of people on here I set out wanting a 6 speed TT in black. Then, like the majority of people on here I realised I couldn't afford it. If I could have afforded my car in a manual I would have had it without a doubt. But that's not to say I don't like the auto box, I love it! The best example I can think of is my mate who's into Scooby's who begged me to get a manual as he hated auto's with a passion. He drove my auto TT for just 30 seconds and changed his mind instantly. Can't say more than that.

I've heard a daft rule that you're allowed 1 pint for every 4 stone of body weight! Someone told me the supposed 2 pint limit is based on the slimmest of men. Kinda makes some sense (I think), bigger blokes usually can handle more beer. On this silly rule I can drink approx 3 pints, I'm also ashamed to admit I've passed on more. The only sure fire way to not get done is to not drink, full stop. I certainly wont risk even 1 this time of year.

Bummer, the same for everyone I guess. Just chip in and get taxis! Unless of course you're too far from home. Not even worth risking a couple this time of year too! I've got a works truck which I just drive to the pub then leave there over night and taxi back. Then get a lift the next day to fetch it.

Absolutely no engine mods, the cars standard. Would have liked a more consistant 0.8 but nevermind. I only got the gauge to make sure there was nothing wrong. To be honest, I thought the first turbo was a bit sluggish compared to the second. Thought perhaps it was on the way out or something. Thankfully it seems Ok. Still not entirely happy with the performance though. I'm just gonna have to go BPU - after xmas mind as it's expensive enough this time of year!

Your tiptronic Sup before the Decat? My Sup is 11 years old so maybe that's why it's a little less. Best get me a decat and then I don't need to worry about anything!

Ok, just got myself a Blitz boost gauge for my Sup to make sure everything was Ok. Installed it tonight and a little worried to see I only get around 0.7bar boost on first turbo. Maybe a little more when both online - approx 0.75. My mate said it peaked at 0.8bar but I've yet to see it do that myself. If anything it's more consistant at 0.7bar. Should I be worried - I thought it should be more than that....

Impeccable taste in movies Penguin! Check out Irreversible too if you don't mind foreign cinema. Really enjoyed Crash (not the Cronenberg one). Loved Sin City this year too if anyone hasn't seen this yet. Can also recommend Memento if anyone not seen that. As for feel good movies Shawshank Redmeption and Good Will Hunting my favourites. Welcome to the club mate. Just to add to the manu thingy when it's turned on, L = 1st, 2 = 2nd and D = 3 (D also 4th when O/D is on - see below) Also, you'll probably at some point press the O/D button and wonder what that is too. That's basically 4th gear on the auto box. With 'O/D off' you'll have no 4th gear. Handy when racing someone at higher speeds as it stops the box automatically changing up to 4th. This is good as you wont require kickdown should you need to boot it. Hope that made sense..... Oh, nice Sup - same as mine. TT in silver with TRD skirts etc.....

I'm with Bill Prawn on this one, I think it's total class. Catchy lyrics a kid could write but that doesn't make it any less of a good track imo. It's more poignent to me cus my Dad's a builder and I now work with him. It will be Xmas number 1 - fact!

There could be two reasons it's got no history, firstly cus it's been clocked. This is very likely due to it being a UK with such questionable low mileage. The other possibility is the Supra came from an isnurance company at some point and the owner that crashed it wouldn't have sent the history to their insurance. Probably never got passed on. I bought a Celica once that was Cat D s/r and it had 71k on the clock but no history. When I got the log book I rang the last owner and requested any reciepts or history. Was well chuffed when a whacking great folder turned up with shit loads of stuff only to find it had been serviced by Toyota right up to 120000 miles. I just binned the history.
